Oil change. This video teaches you how to change your oil in your car or truck in less than five minutes. Changing oil is cheap and easy. Every 5000 miles you need to change your oil and oil filter. It can save you a bunch of money if you do it yourself and you know it gets done correctly. This is a Ford Ranger but the concept for every car is the same. Drain the oil, change the filter, put new oil in and that is all!

How many miles were on your truck when you got it
Never mind… I just heard you mention over 100K miles.
I'm curious about this…your oil cap reads 5w20, but you put in 5w30?
His garage went from this to a lot of project cars and tools. Love it!

kids back in the day without internet was forced to learned the simple lest things like change the oil or tire on a vehicle with little access of knowledge they had but now we have kids who have sources of information this generation and can’t even make classic mac n cheese without looking at the box directions twice lmao
its weird chris sounds bored but u haved improved alot!! i mean alot!!!
Why don’t you do on lower car that need to jack up if you could do in 5 minute!!!
Why is your oil so dirty right after changing it? I have the same truck, a 98 Ranger, with the same 3.0L. I have 190,000 on mine. When I change the oil, for the first 500 miles, or so, the oils so clean, you can barely see it on the dip stick.
3:39 look closely and you can notice that the dipstick is made by Ford.
Very nice Mazda B3000
Who else had to re watch 4:02 to make sure they weren’t tired or their eyes weren’t messing with them when that oil preasure went up lol
I was looking at buying a used car.. The site mentioned change oil in under 5 minutes..

As an up and coming truck owner this was extremely helpful, thank you.
How often do you change the oil in a Ford Ranger?
How often does Ford Ranger need an Oil Change? An oil change is one of the most basic and basic services for your car. Synthetic oil usually should be changed each 7,500 – 10,000 miles. Ford recommends getting your 2019 Ford Ranger oil & filter changed each 3,000-5,000 miles for conventional oil.
Thank you so much this helped me in my class keep up the good work manâ¤ðŸ™ÂÂðŸ™ÂÂ
Where's my "Hey guys! Chris Fix here"?
Either way, Chris’s videos are sill good even if it’s old!
Hi Chris Fix how are you doing I learn a lot from your video where is the best place to get part
A nervous Chris from 7 years ago compared to 6.66 million sub content creator ChrisFix is like night & day
If I practice enough I can get done in less then my usual time of 15 minutes
How did your drain plug come off so easily… I think mine was tightened by an impact. Can't get it off
I see the link you used for the filter pliers is different than what you actually used. If possible, could you link the item you used because I have had no luck using traditional oil pliers/wrench.
I appreciate you.
