Learn how to replace your rear brakes. This video will show you how to replace brake pads on rear disc brakes. It takes 30 min to do both disc brakes and is really easy. Brake pads cost $30 and all you need are some wrenches, c-clamps, and a jack to lift the car. ANYONE CAN DO THIS!!!
This procedure will be similar on most dodge and Chrysler cars such as the dodge neon, dodge caliber, Chrysler intrepid, etc.

Thanks to this guy's videos I learned how to replace my brakes on my own car! Going to save me a ton of money in the long run, plus learned how to do my own oil changes. It's actually pretty easy if you're willing to put in the effort.
How many years prior to this video did you start working on cars?
I’d imagine even at this stage you must have a significant amount of experience!
I'm changing the back brakes on my 2016 Kia Soul tomorrow and couldn't be happier I found this video. I thought I had everything I need, but it looks like I'll have to run out and pick up some grease.
criken2
lip sync battle
I have a question, I was driving with the handbrake up for less than 0.8 miles and I was parking/reversing. Will my brakes be damaged? I could hear some noise and sounds
Thanks man this video is so helpful and quite extraordinary……my uncle taught me how to replace front brake pads but it’s best to watch your videos just to be safe😎

2020: HEY GUYS CHRIS FIX HERE
Every subscriber needs to watch this :-)))))))😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think if you have a PT Cruiser, you're probably better off keeping the pads and replacing the vehicle. 🙂 Otherwise, definitely subscribe, because you'll need Chris's help quite often.
He's got three hands. No wonder he is good at this!
It’s weird back in 2012 he didn’t say “hey guys Chris fix hereâ€ÂÂ

Missing :- "Hey Guys Chris Fix here" 😂
I thought chris fix was some young kiddo living with his parents. Turns out that was the same story 10 years ago? How old are you buddy lol
Why would you need to releave pressure in the brake line, unless you added fluid since your last break job? Don't you want the pressure to return to its original level?
2020
Anyone in 2020? 🙂
Take the caliper off first and then compress the pistons with the cap off the reservoir.

Hi Chris! Same procedure for Chrysler Neon 2004 right?
Tell me I've just been Punked. This can't be taken seriously..Right?
I have learned a lot from ChrisFix videos so far. I searched videos replacing brake pads and I had no idea about his old videos until now. Recent his videos looks nice, fancy, maintain focus and voice stably, and equip nice tools but I really like this video even he couldn't take apart the pad at once and even didn't wear gloves. Maybe that's exactly how I look like and, mayby, many people who need help from his video look like. Of course I love his recent videos as well but this old video makes me feel better. Thanks Chris!
During this process, Is any consideration given to the operation of the "Emergency Brake"? I don't know, that is what I am looking for.
You came a long way. Man
omg i can see hair chirs ?
very bad work, dislike
Asbestos’s….wnthat wire brush
2019 chrisfix would've had this done in 3 minutes with some ENERGY.
Oh god a Chrysler
Weird ass brakes
2019?
I wish I had seen this back in 2012… Thanks Chris!
SAE tools on metric fasteners. No clue what he's doing with the C-clamp. You remove the caliper bolts and pop it off with a prybar… Clean the rust off the edge of the rotor for "cooling". Calls the brake line a fuel line… Using a screwdriver as a prybar.. Oil the brakes.. Touching and contaminating the friction material with his dirty/greasy hands! Sorry job all the way round. He pad slaps it. Doesnt turn or replace the rotors! And doesn't grease or address the caliper slides.
