We always hear that “Hand-Built” engines are superior, but are they really? How much horsepower does a 19 year old, beaten down Mercedes AMG car lose after 178,000 hard miles? These are all questions I had and since I have an automotive YouTube channel, I made a video of the results. This is the World’s Cheapest AMG car ever sold. The intake manifold is clogged from egr and cvs. Clean the intake manifold, fix inner flaps, and you’ll gain a lot back. Forget spark plugs, they are not going to give you anything if there is no misfires clocked.
I think it’s time to get a dyno run. How did you like Performance Solutions? I went to a place and didn’t have a good feeling. They did 1 pull and he mentioned I was running lean at 12.1, that’s wrong, it’s rich. He didn’t want to do another. The results were 233 hp and 414 torque at 2800 rpm. Looking for another place to try. Do you know another place closer to the northside?

Good news is most the body panels are the same as lower model W202’s. Minus the front bumper, ground effects, and rolled finders.

Having worked at a four line dealership for years(Audi,Porsche,MB,Aston), I can tell you that no, they are not superior. in fact, that premium price you are paying? That's just because of the fancy name on it. The same companies that make stuff for chevy and hyundai make stuff for so-called "High End" cars. So yeah, they ALL suck!
Anything to do to bring those HP back??!!
