I have a question ??? Chris I had all my brakes and rotors replaced. I have a 2017 Ford Edge the rims I have you can see my rotors. So, the brake and rotors looked great nice and new. About a week later all the rotors full of rust and looks terrible. My new rotors now look like the old ones you took off this vehicle. Why is this happening my old rotors didn’t look this bad??? Help please😉
Hey chris wsts up , gotta question, I did rotors and brake pads on my 2015 Toyota tacoma, now my engine light and trac light keeps coming on , I disconnect the battery to turn the light off, it works for a short while then comes back on what's my problem or what can I do to fix it, this just started happening right after I fix my rotors and pads
I really like how he explains his actions… great
Hi. This might be an obvious question to car mechanics but when do u know to change the rotor?
looks like back in the day before gloves. im old school & still never wear them
Hey Chris I like your videos great camera angles and closeups and how you tell us extra tips while your fixing things. Like telling us a major tip at 11:48 make sure you don't use brake fluid that's been open for 3 months because it gets moisture in it and that's no good. I'm going to use a black magic marker and write on the brake fluid the date I first opened it. Thanks Chris your the best. Keep up the Great work man!
Chris, changed rotors, bearings, pads and calipers … At high speed stepping on the brakes they pulsate just like having bad rotors… WTF
I will do this on my own next time. I paid an arm and a part of my leg to get mine changed, but I'm definitely going to do this one my own next time.
Chris from before his classic blue gloves. Thanks for helping me prepare to buy a used car, thanks to you i feel like i can fix anything
Dude you're like the God of all things a car has🤙. Really appreciate your videos & experience. 💪ðŸ¤ÂÂ
Got 2000 neon blown head is it worth fixing.
Use graphite or copper grease next time.
You have great videos! I'm doing my front bakes on a 2004 Chev Trailblazer right now, but one thing I think you must touch on – is how to remove the rotor if it's stuck on the hub with rust. I saw others whaling away on the old rotor with hammers, using pullers (a kind of pricey buy or rent), soaking the assembly with penetrating oils, going at it in all sorts of ways. But there are those two threaded holes on the face of the rotor where the wheel lugs are and if you put a right sized bolt in there and tighten it down – that is a great and simple way to get the stuck rotor off! Cheers!
Hey Chris, can you help me man? I did full brakes and rotors in my car. I did it for the first time and i did good. However, i popped the dust shield spring when i was removing the rear rotor. How do i fix the dust shield touching the rotor? I thought of zip tie, but it will probably melt as it get really hot. Thanks Chris.

Remember to pump the brake peddle before driving. You’ll feel the pressure or peddle get stuffer from the fluid cycling back through
