Forgotten Big Block Truck- Will It RUN AND DRIVE After 16 Years? – Car Mod Pros Portal

This 1978 Chevrolet Silverado c20 is definitely restoration worthy! Let’s see if it’ll wake out of a almost two decade slumber and hit the road once again. I have huge plans for this truck, so stick around to the end to find out!

  1. Bentley is a great kid. I have a son myself and I can't figure out how he turned out so well, see I was a feral kid and had a chip on my shoulder as a younger man….I don't deserve such a good kid. I really enjoy watching Dad and son work together. My boy turns 16 tomorrow and has been fixing on a 1998 k truck he bought himself and I'm hoping to get him a set of loud pipes for his birthday. Bentley you are good kid , it's always wise to listen to Dad but it's also good to sit back and watch cus even he will make mistakes, you can learn from those as well my guy. Good video as always guys!!!✌️🤙🖖👍

  2. My suped up 280zx vapor locked on my way to a high school dinner dance on the mini Haha in Lake George Ny back in the day. I had 2 beer balls in contractor bags in the back. Of course it stalled right in town and a cop helped push it out of the intersection. Now a z car has a huge glass hatch and that cop was staring right at those beer balls and didnt know it😂. Let her cool off and then we were off

  3. Take it from me. I used to be your little man. Working on cars with my Dad. I vividly remember sitting in the engine bay, 10 years old swapping plugs and wires. Your son will come to CHERISH these moments in time with you.
Don't EVER forget that. Stuff that will leave your mind as fast as it came in, he will keep FOREVER.

    GODSPEED DERRICK

  4. I knowu farm boy learn different and much better than us city folk but am half a farm boy so a can appreciate every time i c ya boy doing stuff its class man my kids wouldn't have a clue lol gotta be a big proud moment every time well done

  5. A guy out in Wyoming could be looking for a square box chevy that runs and drives good. What would it take for something like that to happen? not a millionaire but could use one for going out rock hunting in the scrub and the old Impala LTZ doesnt like the fields too much.

  6. I know this a old video, but first time i seeing it
The truck reminds me of the one i had. Mind was a silver a s lite gray. The problem was it only got 8 miles per. gallon and 4 to 5 pulling my 30 foot camper. Mind was a 76.

  7. As a kid my dad took me to work with him almost every Saturday in the body shop.. learned a lot of life information from him…. brings back so many great memories of my dad….he passed in 2001…. worked side by side with him in the body shop for 12 years……

  8. That was our wrecker for many years. It was put out of service in 2008 when Larry purchased a new wrecker. Around 2010 or 11 ( can confirm by date on the battery) I did some repairs to the PTO gears and got it tuned up and we used it around the station for a few days until brakes failed. Instead of repairing we just put it right back in its spot and left it. Larry had intentions of restoring it to its former glory as it was his first new wrecker he ever bought. He has turned down many offers to purchase but you just caught him on the right day. I’m excited to see it running and driving again and look forward to seeing it tow again.

  9. I watch all your videos while exercising on my treadmill. You make my 30min go by in a flash. You are a very knowledgeable mechanic. Keep up the wonderful videos Derek! I'm 81 years old and have been though all the old cars you work on. I wish you could have been around years ago.
