I bought a 1979 Chevrolet Camaro sight unseen. Once again it’s way up north by the Canadian border. It’s been sitting in a barn for 21 years and appears to be in decent overall condition thanks to sitting in a relatively dry environment. I do eventually get it started after some fixin on it. And of course, I have to take it on a test drive.

  1. Golly, did he blowup the engine on purpose? Is burnout a test of a serviceable car?
Okay, I felt kinda bad to see a car killed on purpose, maybe I'm wrong, what should I have learned?

  2. I remember on my old maro they had auto theft device from factory . Rotate the steering column near the dash where a on the column shifter would be . 😂

  3. reminds me of a bush party in my teens where my 1 buddy showed up with a rough running camaro at about midnight that he got cheap, like 600 bucks or something.
it BARELY ran good enough to get there 10 miles or so but as soon as we popped the hood we could SEE THE PROBLEM.
there was LIGHTNING STORMS ALL VOER the engine bay. i bet every plug was intermitantly shorting out.
a bunmch of duct tape and black tape et etc he was able to drive home

  4. So where is Bozo the clown? Pouting in the corner because your mama and papa and family finally said that they think something is wrong with a grown man insisting on keeping his goofball clown hair and embarrassing the family?

  5. awesome job getting it running briefly. i think the burnout killed it. lol i see you have part 2 somewhere. will try to watch it. -jon

  6. Bilstein shocks helped the ride on my stock height 90 yj, I really love running around in it. I have an 06 tj that has no interior room compared with the yj. I have the same engine they say gm hei and a nutterbypass is the way to go , or a sniper efi kit. I'd love to see you do that so I can Learn from your experience. Do the nutter bypass so I learn how to do mine. The vacuum hoses for the 4×4 are a pain mine rotted and I replaced them.

  7. They actually just introduced new up to 10k€ fine for modifying emission systems here in Finland. It was mostly aimed at diesel AdBlue removals but I'm pretty sure it includes also cat delete.
