FIRST DRIVE In Our Clapped Out Rat Rod Chevy C10 – Vice Grip Garage EP52 – Car Mod Pros Portal

Small fire. No heat. No brakes. No cares? This is gotta’ be the worst way to test drive an old rat rod truck that literally hasn’t been on the street in 20+ years. There are a few more upgrades to make to the old Chevrolet c10, then I’m just going to attempt to drive it to a car show in a snow storm.

  1. I drove a 79 Chevy short box van in Mexico for years , coolest van in town . All black no stickers or stripes , old school turbine mags with BF Goodrich TA radials , flares sun visor damn I wish Iโ€™d kept it

  2. My dad had a green one of these when I was a kid. I used to ride with no car seat at like 5 years old and he would yell COP and Iโ€™d hide in the floorboard so he wouldnโ€™t get pulled over. I covered the inside in dinosaur stickers and he didnโ€™t care at all.

  3. In 1992, I broke down in my car in Portland Oregon. I bought a 66 pu alot like Lawsuit there for 300 bucks and drove in 4 or 5 hundred miles down to where I lived in Vallejo,CA. It smoked a little but burned quite a bit of oil. It was summer so I bought a case of Pennzoil straight 50 weight. The old six hole wasn't bad on gas but it took the whole case to get home.๐Ÿ˜‚ I got my other truck and rented a car dolly and went back up after the car. I soon sold the old Chevy for $600. That paid most of the gas cost back then.despite the oil use and busted windshield, she would bring a bit more now๐Ÿ˜Š. Fact is I'd love to have her back.๐Ÿ˜ข

  4. Years ago in the early 1990's I found Rain-X when they only had it as a wipe that you wipe on the window and wipe it off like a wax now I used that Rain-X washer fluid and I'll tell you I won't buy that blue stuff no more I have to use Rain-X washer fluid you get going above 45 50 mile-an-hour you don't even need wipers and that's no lie

  5. I've watched a lot of your videos but it only just now registered in my brain. The Earls filters you complain about fram are made right next to other brands in the same factorys, in Albion Illinois… I worked in the air plant where the air filters were made and they were printed on made in Mexico but if you go to AutoZone in the town I live in next town over the codes we made are the codes they sell same filters AKA same Earls filters don't be deceived they're all junk….lol

  6. You've come such a long ways in the 2 years ive been subbed. Peg sent me over back then from ol Zip Ties n Bias Plies. Its so awesome to see man. Congrats to you and the fam, you guys are the greatest and deserve the best. Cheers!
