7. As a chevy tech back in the late 90s I had an S10 that this girl (the owner) hated. Was purchased for her by her grandmother. She would bring it in for ANY and EVERY little rattle or squeak. One ticket had so many line items about noises I loaded up tools, told my service manager I'd be gone a while and hit the road. Dismantled the whole interior, basically, on the drive to find all the issues. One was the horn spring behind the airbag. Many behind panels.

9. When my g35 was like 7 years old, the muffler bracket broke off the muffler tail pipe so it was dragging on the ground. I had to pull over, kick it out of the hanger, thankfully I had a box in trunk cuz I was gonna be moving, so hot muffler went in the box and I drove home. Fun times

10. TFI failure makes the car run bad. There is a retrofit kit to relocate the module to a cooler part of the engine compartment since factory location is too hot for the solid state electronics to function properly.

14. As I am watching this I cant help but remember in Video one you only put like 3 gallons of gas in it … also that guage reads below Empty …. and thinkin "I know whats wrong with it, Aint got no gas in it"

15. I had my shifter pop out of the trans as I was going down the road, had to get it into neutral and pop it back in place as I was rolling down a freeway

18. TFI was my first guess too since I had an Escort GT that left me stranded in the west bound hill in Albuquerque on my way to CALi. I had to wait until night time to drive 9 hrs back home. 😡

19. It's a crime that the trailer hitch was not removed when the tank was dropped.

20. My first car was an 88 Lx that I bought in 96. I was almost left stranded twice. Tank was dirty and clogged the filter. Had it boiled and replaced the filter. The next time the shift linkage came loose in the trans and I limped it in 5th to the garage. Not a day goes by I don’t miss that car.

25. I know this video is a year old, but that 88-89 Fiji blue Conquest is nice! I've owned probably 13 or so Conquest/Starion's. Love/hate those cars!

29. The ignition control module went bad 2 times in my 88 Lincoln mark 7 which is the same HO motor, the design was updated in 94 when the Mustang body style changed to the sn95 and relocated under the factory airbox
