I found a decent 1969 GMC K20 pickup that’s been sitting on a farm for 16 years. It’s a factory 4 speed truck, with a posi 3:73 rear end, so of course, I just had to have it. Watch me try to get this old beauty up and running and go test on it! I just may or may not get stuck…

Glad to see this truck back. I love the look of it too. Salvaged drivetrain from Lincoln and bags sounds great. You should ditch that disgusting front clip and put it back to a dropped strait axle with split wishbones on front. Can’t wait to see the transformation. Please don’t paint it😊

My first vehicle when I was 16 was the Chevrolet version of that truck, a 1970 model that I drove for 12 years. I can’t tell you how much time I spent with my knees on the radiator and my butt stuck up in the air like that working on it.

My neck of the woods, tractor pullin' folks out of bogs makes up a fair percentage of farmer's incomes.
I love how so much of this old American iron comes fitted with oil pressure gauges. You had to buy the expensive luxury version of things back then to get that in my country. Light only for rest. Heck, some models of GM/H HQs didn't even have a temperature gauge. You just got a light for that too!
Not a real offroader, but who cares, the rig rides!

B-12 is way better for removing the deposits in the engine. I had plugs that were bridged with oil deposits, and one can of b-12 they looked brand new. Three cans of seafoam with zero results.
