In this video I tested Seafoam. I use a mini borescope camera to look into the engine and see how dirty the engine is before the fuel treatment and then after the fuel treatment.
I followed the instructions on the container and seafoam did a great job cleaning a good amount of carbon off the piston head. I then filled the cylinder with seafoam and it cleaned out 99% of the carbon! After this test, I would recommend seafoam to clean out small engines. I am impressed by the results and finally we have proof that seafoam actually works!

  1. Good stuff! The trick is to put it in your gas tank and after a while your whole system will be cleaned out, carburetor etc. Bad part kkinda expensive in your car but bikes, small engines, works good every 2 or 3 tanks once the system is cleaned out. Like my bike group used to say, nothing happens using sea foam meaning it keeps running clean like when ya bought it n your carb dont get all gummed up.

  2. I use Lucus Fuel treatment in the gas for years and Seafoam is GREAT too in the ⛽ gas. Good video for sure !!!

  3. Chrisfix validates the testing that Project Farm did (and made me a fan of Seafoam).

I use Seafoam in my fuel tank at every oil change and plan to flush the crankcase on my golf cart the next time that I change the oil. If you pay attention to sale prices you can get it for $7 a bottle.

  4. I NEVER EVER USED THIS STUFF….BUT, I recently had a lawn mower which pushed out SOOOO MUCH SMOKE…I had to shut it down…in fear the neighbors would complain then, a local automotive store says, try seafood…it might loosen the rings…put some in the fuel tank and crankcase… within 2 days and hmmm 10 startups…NO MORE SMOKE

  5. This is NOT a Honda engine, as mentioned in the beginning of the video. The lawn mower is a Craftsman. There’s a reason why Craftsman is no longer in business. The company started well enough but eventually produced some real crap and people caught on to this… Honda makes some some rather die hard engines. My Craftsman died after about ten or twelve years. The Honda mower I currently use is about 18-19 years old (no shit) and still runs well.

  6. I never forget a friend puting old engine oil in my mower .5 muinuts later the piston shot out the side like a bullet just missing my leg my eyes cought it .never again.

  7. The piston still looks bad…..and that was a 1 cylinder engine that you used as much Sea Foam on as a mulitcylinder engine….right?

  8. I have no affiliation with seafoam . Problem 1990 wave runner 2 stroke 650cc not started in 4 years. Tried an entire can of carb cleaner, ignition spray over several days, no luck. While digging around for some other chem Solution , I found an almost empty can of seafoam, about a 1/4 cup . Poured it down carb and waited for 3 hours . It started on the first try. I had already located a carb rebuild kit for it , this was my last attempt before pulling the carb

  9. I wonder if you ran it through the gas tank like you are supposed to do it would be cleaning for 1/2 to 1 hour while cutting grass ?
