In this video I test Seafoam in a Honda Civic Si. I use a mini borescope camera to look into the engine and see how dirty the engine is before the fuel treatment and then after the fuel treatment.
I followed the instructions on the container and seafoam did a great job cleaning a good amount of carbon off the piston head. I am impressed by the results and finally we have proof that seafoam actually works!

Where,s the compression tests?
no downshifting?
Test BG products…..!
Looks like you added carbon in cyl 4
Can We vape that?
Give the engine a few revs, holds er wide open for like 10 seconds
Low bar. Instead, for far better results. B&G 44k can in fuel tank. See real results. This is just sad, inferior product.
Should drive aggressively before sea foam then check and do this to see if aggressive driving didnt do it
Wonder if it workz in an Abram's?!
How do you know the carbon didn't get removed just because you were trying to blow you engine and it had nothing to do with seafoam?
I seafoamed my BMW m performance and it sounds like vtec
I seafoamed
Made everything worse
Does it require two people to do this?
That shifting was pretty bad… Poor clutch
Nice review Chris! Greetings from the Philippines!
do i get the nozzle with it? or i need to buy it saparate?
I wouldn't even bother
0:46 one of the boxes jumps with no explaination
1) Different light on borescope = can't compare the carbon deposite.
2) If you drive aggressively for some time, it will decarbonize anyway and you need no chemicals for it. Just make the engine warm, take it to a highway and keep revs high enough (in my case it means keeping about 160 kph) for about half an hour with some engine braking (which allows some fresh air in).
3) Do it as a prevention (in my case once a week) and your engine will love you for it.
That was interesting and worth a thumbs up and a subscription, even though I was actually looking for an answer to my zero turn lawn mower problem when I accidentally found it. I'd love to find out which cleaners did NOT do much good in your opinion, are those of your videos on Youtube, too? OK, now on behalf us who only know where the gasoline goes in and the exhaust comes out, but like you believe that all things in life should be kept clean and tidy—WHY do we want to spend an afternoon doing this? Does it give us better gas mileage or horsepower and acceleration under the hood? Does it create less pollution (could a bad case of this problem cause you fail the emissions part of the annual state inspection?)? How would we KNOW that it is time to do this?—Does our engine begin to behave peculiarly, if so, in what way? In cylinder #4, you seem to stress the difference in hard carbon around the EDGES of the cylinder—is this the major problem here, the edges and the point of contact between cyclinder and piston or those rings you talk about? What if all the edges were pristine but the center of the piston was gunked up, is that a problem? Do you have a list of all of your Youtube video titles to review? Too many questions? P.S. It was either in this video or your Seafoam/lawn mower engine I learned the meaning of "Hydrolock", THANKS! (Last question: You married?)
Thank you sea foam……for helping global warming….maybe one day we won't get minus degrees weather in April here in Canada.
Chris knows his s@%t. Oh by he way the hand is none other than “Thing†from Addams Family†fame. (might be his cousin). Thank you for the educational and informative vid. R.I.P. cousin IT.
