This is my independent review for the Lemur Monitors Blue Driver OBD2 Scanner. This is my go-to scanner. If you need to get yourself a scanner, I would seriously consider the BlueDriver because not only can you read and clear the typical check engine light codes, you can also read and clear airbag, transmission, ABS, and other module codes (for Ford, GM, and Chrysler vehicles and now it works on Toyota too!).
Here is where you can get the BlueDriver: http://amzn.to/1XNUGfz

I like the "stealership" reference.
Eric the Car Guy did the same thing; demoed this device without doing it on an actual engine code. When my time comes I will just go buy a Bosch scanner.
The fact that it works on all vehicles makes it easier and I'm buying it
So if I'm from Europe and my car is a 2003 and diesel it won't work for me or I just don't have that connector?
Does this work on a Hyundai Elantra 2008 ??? Tell please cuz I want to get that
Bought one a couple weeks ago. Truck was running rough out of the blue when I was leaving for work, checked to see if a new code (I have permanent cat codes lol). It was cylinder five. I was able to take a different vehicle to work instead of being stranded on my long drive! It's already paid for itself!
Will this allow me to switch "on" a factory wired trailer harness? I installed the bar in my 2015 Grand Cherokee and it was factory wired, but not dealer installed. Want to save myself a trip to "stealership!"
Can you look up your car parts on Bluedriver obd2 scen or you have go to google to look it up ðŸ¤â€ÂðŸ¤â€ÂðŸ¤â€ÂðŸ¤â€Â
Hi Chris. I am looking for the best Bi-directional scanner with the most features, & maybe free lifetime updates, as well as help & support for the least or a reasonable amount of money. Since I'm a new DIY person can you suggest some for me..
it's not working on my peugeot 206
i waited for the blue light to go out. it's flashing and i still can not connect. even if i plug the obd2 scanner in another time.
the car is from 2001, so it should work right?
the app has full permissions and i did allow location
looking for the cheapest scanner that can read transmission temperature for sealed transmission when changing transmission oil. also one that read air strut and air strut compressor for Lexus ls460 and Mercedes s550. Any recommendation? Thanks
This work on japanese brand??
is this your daily driver for your obd2 scanning needs?

Thanks for this video, waiting for Amazon to deliver mine. Wish I'd had one of these a long time ago!
Do it read bcm or reboot them

Can you just leave the Blue driver in the port like it's part of the car ?
Will it still work with the switch half way on bc my car got no keys ?
Im sold
Can you stop and start all injectors ?
I wasted my money on this . I did buy it because Chrisfix recommended it . It wasn’t useful for me
The ABS, airbag, etc… are only work on american cars, not on europeans :/
Can you run evap leak test
soon as you said they can see that you ran the vehicle, it was a big fat i''ll pass !!!!!!!
Can this work on Toyota vehicles
Can this remove speed limiter?
"Stealership" lol that's great
Hey Chris, is this still a good reader or would you recommend another one?
With the exception of the cost of subscription, how does BlueDriver compare to the Carly adapter/application? Thanks!
Can it not read the VIN in its scan? Must the VIN be entered manually?
Hey Chris do you still recommend after all the updates, I’m looking for a obd2 that is accurate, I seem some reviews about it that the live data isn’t accurate and isn’t that good?
Is this video still up to date for information on it today
Does it do a auto bleed on mercades
Saw this video a year ago and got myself a BlueDriver. Now I can let all my friends know exactly what’s wrong with their vehicle without being ripped off by some shady mechanic. Thanks for the heads up on this product, Chris.
Did my research on OBD2 scanners, and chose the blue driver and to hear that it’s your favorite just backs my decision even more. Mine comes in in 2 weeks, going to be using it at a Lexus dealership
If cars computer have so mutch data on this why dont they put it in cars screen. Guess why…..
Poor folks that live in states with vehicle inspections.
I want to buy a good used car and not get screwed so was thinking about using as scanner to assist me .did u say it's only for certain models or if that's the case can u still use this device some how little confused since I heard something on certain models of cars in this.
HI! Great vid, thanks! One (maybe silly) question. If I want to buy a used car and check the car with this, how can I see the error codes if the owner chose to delete them as you did in the vid ? Then I won't see the errors even if didn't fix them. Am I missing something ?
Probably need a safety lock to prevent unauthorized use of ''name your price'' tools and the like.
I have a 2005 BMW 545i Dinan.
Which OBD scanner is the best for BMW owners?
Blue Driver, or Carly.
If you give feedback please give details with your suggestion.
Thanks,
Who is watching in 2021
Can I get one for free
Stealership is bad sometimes, but my toyota was repaired by a small shop, they didn't fix the problem 2k later, toyota stealership was the only one who knew how to fix it right. Smogged and no more check engine light.
Great review I have been working on my cars since 1995, I first used a scan tool on that very same Snap On tool that was not very beginner friendly. I took automotive at a community college, now I’m never ripped off on big jobs, because I now what I’m talking about.
@ChrisFix hey does this work if there is no check engine light on, but it has a bad oil leak? Can't figure what is leaking
Can this reset the electronic throttle body
Very helpful and great delivery BlueDriver should pay you!
