13. Also remember, chevy cams are only case hardened which means only the surface is wear hardened. If u get a 100,000 out of a cam, without wiping a lobe, ur lucky. its worth mentioning. my dad had square bodies forever and every one had a few wiped lobes. also the cam gear is bakelite coated aluminum not plastic. all the manufaturers used em and most of em were non interference fits if i recall right except chrysler. their cam gear goes and u got like 60 bent valves
