In this video Derek finishes up the custom motor mounts, and Bentley helps build a custom crossmember for the c4 transmission. Dave get’s the rear end to articulate, and tires are added to finally get a picture of what the truck will look like!

Little Grip and Big. What a Team
Been watching the 35 Ford build episodes. Bentley did an awesome welding job on the bracket. Pay the man !!!
21:09 Not an expert, but I think those are for wood.
i wanna see this thing on the road!!!…..Derek this thing is turning out amazing, good job on bring this thing to life!!
Awesome video, great crew!!!
Great job welding, Bentley! Awesome to see you learning fabrication skills from your dad.
Halve moons
The fact Dave is in the background like DAYUM! says a lot. Little grip is going to this channel in like 10 years….
Impressive welds from little grip!
Bentley is an exceptional kid. And…working with Pop will give him a lifetime of memories.
One father to another, nice job. ðŸ‘Â
A bead seater would be a much better option than showing your son the old either dangerous way of getting a old tire to seat on the bead. You can buy them these days at northern tool for about $70.00. I know you told him don't be trying that. But boys will be boys and regardless of what you tell him not to do if he sees you doing it he will try it at some point. I have 4 boys of my own so ask me how I know. Anyhow I think it is great waht you are doing with your son. I learned to weld at 11 years old and my son is a welder also. Anyhow just some advice from one Dad to another. Jump on amazon and order you a 5 gallon Bead blaster and teach your son to do things the safe way. Just my 2 cents anyhow
You could put spacers between the frame and transmission crossmember to keep everything aligned.
I think you should go with a bench seat, so you're wife can sit next to you when you're out cruising.
Well now we know what Bentley is going to do in the the future
Freaking let’s go Bentley!!!
@ 8:19 the serious tone of do as i say and not as i do made me chuckle. I remember vividly watching pops do some sketchy stuff and then very shortly after saying to me "Dont tell your mother what you saw and dont let me catch you doing this either" 😂😂😂😂
vice for the drill press, cutting fluid or oil , and slow that bit way down!
Hmmmmm you took the mopar out of it!
I absolutely love seeing Bentley in these videos! Your channel is already top notch, but he just adds to it. Keep it coming Derek, hopefully I get to meet you next year at one of the events!
Old whiskey barrel seats

I have those bits that I bought through MATCO. Lifetime warranty and haven't broken or dulled any in 3 years.
Thanks!
