Abandoned Chevelle gets a roll/Harness Bar – Vice Grip Garage EP74 – Car Mod Pros Portal

I’m building a burnout car for Cleetus & Cars! On this Episode, we gut the interior out of this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle known as Independence and install a 4 point roll bar. This harness bar serves a couple purposes, mostly just holding the body on the frame during donuts since the body mounts are non-existent. Coming soon is patching the floor, and putting in seats! SUBSCRIBE now to follow the build to Cleetus and Cars and Freedom Factory!

  1. I used to cheat on the miters when doing pipe. I had access to a plasma cutter for sheet metal so I would burn a template out of 26 ga., roll it and wrap it around the pipe. I could lay it out by hand but I would have to dig out my first year apprentice books with my layout procedures.

  2. hi am tom from great britain have been totally engrossed in all your projects , as with most of your subscribers was impressed with the A4 700 mile journey . as with yourself my father was a massive car man and its rubbed off on me probably from the age of your youngest, the A4 reminded me of a time many moons gone when me and some other kids found an old ford in a garage same type shape as with you found an old battery put it on but nothing but it was a hand crank type and it started think sometime we class ourselves as Paramedic mechanics the pleasure of breathing life into machines gives you such a high
    keep doing what you do

  3. A chap is using excessive brain energisation working out all these gallon conversions from US to UK. but getting 18 to the gallon UK outa some of these big yank tanks in scrapyard condition doesn't seem too bad, well at least it sounds better than the 15 you quote

  4. I have built and installed handrail for over 25 years and I thank you for showing people the best, easiest way to get your pipe coped. If ya go too deep you'll know it pretty quick. Even at that rate its not hard to fill up. Magic trick to measurements is to measure center to center and then deduct 1/2" per cope. That will give you the square cut measurement. Make the copes and she'll slide rite in. the 1/2" is based on 1 1/2' pipe. If ya use 2" the deduction will be the light side of 3/4"……more like 11/16" – 5/8" eitherwhichway I appreciate what you do how you do it
