This 1957 Chevrolet 4 Door 210 has been off the road for 37 years. It needs EVERYTHING.. Carb, ignition, fuel system, brake system and more. Let’s try to patch this thing together, get it running, and jam it back on the highway!

that gas tank is MINT
I fully suspect the CCP wants to send us a lot of stuff that goes quickly to trash as a backstabbing war aspect from some companies there.
My vote is the fix on her and send to someone down the road to finish. We need to keep as many saveable colectors going as possible. Try and find one that's beyond saving to use for parts. It'd be a shame to part her out if she's saveable.
what kind of transmission is that
I enjoyed this video very much. It reminds me of working with my late brother. He would bring old junk home and we would get them drivable again. Thank you 😊
DD's speed shop has had bad luck with replacement master cylinders too
What a great video. Once again Derek thank you for producing the best entertainment on YouTube.
Please stay safe and healthy while you’re reviving these great classics ❤
MOSS,S SANDALS…What a battle..lol…She,s worth it though..NICE!!!
Ok. The tank removal sequence alone was worth the time to watch.
Probably gonna have to save this 57. No parts car now brotha!
Those headlights seem to be pretty damn nice.
Here a guy that pumps out 2 hour vids what seems every other day. What a champ. Thx Derek. From Toronto Can
Almost 3 hrs long….dernit derek, cmon! 😂
Derek, That's not a parts car, that a survivor. Let 'er survive.
Hang on to it
That 57 was fighting and kicking to prove to you it deserves to be driven . I’m sure you have enough parts to get it to be a going to town rig . It’s too nice to chop up .
This car seemed like it didn't want to be brought back into life. It took all thoses new parts and destroyed them.
Moses sandals, a 2.5 hr VGG episode with theme music.
That car is possessed !
Keep building on this
Seems like a guy that owns that parts store needs some new vendors
I think cursed was the correct assement for that car.
Lordy you are an exercise in patience and resilience. Take my hat off to you.
The video won't play on my tv
Looks like the holes in the upper quarter panels reminds me of the twin antennas or antennas if it was an airforce vehicle. Just thoughts
What a gem of a car. She’s a keeper for sure
Hang on to it
I know what the bungy cords you found were used for….throttle spring 😉
Starter went out on my car it took two new remy starters to fix it. To make things worse the temp was 15 below zero outside
My dad would've gotten the 150. Like he got the base K-car, 5 speed 2.2 liter Dodge. No frills sir!
I think that car should exchange hands 5 or 6 times, but in a way that has never been seen before. Let me try to explain this the best I can. What if it becomes a giveaway car, but not just you working on it? What if you make it just good enough, then travel to another state and meet up with another YouTuber and fix it some more, then drive to another state, meet up with another YouTuber, and fix it some more, and by the time you stop 4 to 6 times in the end, you have this really amazing car that has some of the best people working on it, like Thunderhead289 and Dylan McCool, etc.? Each YouTuber puts their own spin on it, so, for example, you put a sniper on it. thunder dead dose disc brakes MC doses a head cam package, and another YouTuber does the paint. That way, it's just not a VG car; it's the people's car.
I love your videos Derek, always like seeing how you deal with problem solving. You’ve helped me learn how to deal with problems on vehicles more than anyone I know!
Good Evening Sir, I hope you are doing well and having a fantastic day today Sir!.

Be neat to keep it around a bit !
OMG what a rescue, had to be a years worth of bad luck on just one car. I marvel at your patience. Better luck going forward. Great video as always! Just a thought how about doing a video about where all the rescues are now, that would interesting.
