The LS engines have strong guts, period. Much stronger than the ford offering. Every boosted '03 – '05 cobra I've so far seen costed the owner a crazy amount of cash and in the end the ford still falls way short of the GM LS internals strength and the LS spanks them handily and for many $1000s of dollars less. Hell, the high boost that an LS engine takes speaks for itself.

You see Chevy motors in Fords all the time but you will never see a Chevy man running a Ford engine. The LS series engines are simple reliable and fast reasonably priced. In addition to the Ford motors not putting out as much power..they are bulky and heavy.
