This when i started watching boostedboiz
Yeah, but it’s just a civic.
10,000 to do everything yourself ,to pay a mechanic at Firestone you're looking at $35,000 parts and labor lol
Homo motors or HMotors?
What do I need for a 400hp h22a?
twin?
Kyle… 4 years later and you still have no clue on how to drive a manual!!! 🤦ðŸÂ¾â€ÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂ
Iam starting with a 99 honda accorrd vtec stick shift what you reccomend me upgrading first ..i got a 94 with a b 20 and at the time i didnt know what i had all i know it was fast
his honesty 😂
The real question is whether or not he honed the sleeves for those Mahle pistons..
Lmfaoooo the ending
What piston and rods you use?
I have a 1996 Honda Civic hatchback and I’m new to this so any tips and advice
You did that on a stock trans?
bud your engine sideways lmao just playing
"Didn't stall once" okay ricer
Hey what top mount turbo manifold do you have?
Any tubors or turbo parts for donations guys
Did you sleeve the block??
What about the port job on the intake manifold
I'm going to build this same exact car. I'm a subaru guy and own a 05 wrx,but this car is insane.
Should have convinced my dad to let me have his civic dx even though the rust got the the point where you could push your finger through the quarter panel
What blow off valve did u use?
And now you new a sequential to hit 3rd lmao
I wanna start learning more about cars and modifying and stuff, I just have a civic FN2 ES model so it’s cool & all but not really a type R lol. The previous owner treated the car real bad and then it got sold to me without being told about the issues and stuff but I’ve got most of it fixed, anyway, yeah, I’d love to make my car faster and mod it and stuff but I don’t even know where to start, and also insurance costs A LOT for my car. I know it’ll cost me loads for the first 3 years. I guess people talk about project cars and stuff but I don’t have the money for that plus I don’t have anywhere to put it. I don’t have a garage or anything. Any tips? :/
Since this video is so old I am doubtful that kyle will respond but what rods, pistons, springs and retainers did you buy? I am going to be turboing my h22a and I know that your setup is very reliable
damn 800 for blown moter? I got my civic with a messed up clutch for 300 with136000 miles
What piston brand and what's the compression on them. Also what rods are they
What kind of pistons tho
You probably won't see this, but isn't there a problem with the h22a and just throwing pistons in it? I'm about to build my motor and found this video.
Can u still make power with stock ecu ?
What EBay turbo kit did you go with?
This was the very first boostedboiz video I saw lol back when it first came out
I miss this type of content lol good ol days
You could do this way cheaper if you junkyard it
Same reason why i kept my.Clio for 19 years now theres only 4 clio 1.8 rsi left in the world everyone in the uk saved the 205 mine eats them lol i jus need a turbo kit of a Volvo 440 then i can chop Golf ballbags ðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ‘ÂÂðŸ‘ÂÂ🖖
What kind of pistons nd rods did u use? And did u change compression ratio? I have a h22a4 and idk if i should sleev or not
What type of motor do you have agian that thing is bad ass
Nice just got an h22 swapped ek for $1500
What kind of harness are you using in the hatch
I miss this hatch I have the same engine in my ef
600 hp? Come on everybody else says they have 1000 2000 why don’t you say you got 5000 hp what a joke, it’s funny I’ve not seen one dyno sheet
I’m 18 and currently saving up for a 1996 Honda ek hatch. I want to do something like this and this is very inspiring.
fuck the haters. i wish i can do a honda project
What civic is it?

Much respect to you n the crew bro. I’m 36 n have been into these civics since the 90s n have just got into actually building n working on my own for the past 4-5 yrs now. It’s amazing how much one can learn and accomplish in such little time when u actually get in there yourself n start meddling. Love ur channel and watch every last vid. So much luv n a huge shoutout to the @BoostedBoiz from the Bronx New York 🤙💯ðŸâ€Â°
Great job on the civic Kyle. love it🦄
Ive watched this video 6 times. Im building an h22 swapped civic and im in the same boat as he was. I have a basic understanding from forumns and youtube but thus video gives me hope and it kinda gives me so many hidden answers to all of my questions so far. I cant wait to get this car going
