2. Hey, please don't give your dog the chance to look at the weld glow. He can go blind just like you can. Give him welding doggles.

3. One thing we used to do on kickups ike that was use a slightly wider piece of steel and cut it so the ends fit OVER the existing rail. This game us double thickness on the vertical walls. A holesaw cutout on the new piece let us weld inside the circle and it was incredibly strong and very stiff. Only the vertical walls really transfer weight and/or force anyways. Still looks really good though.

5. Still think that an O shape touching the sides would have been the better option. With this double L in the back and its 90degrees its not more sturdy. The O shape would have had the benefit of giving more space in the inner area in height and have a direct impact safety measure for side impacts…

7. i don’t wanna tell you this but it’s beginning to be known throughout the world that the america is truly the land of extreme. while there are billionaires in their twenties, a large percentage feels they are lucky to have jobs because many really don’t. they live at mothers houses and tell others how things are supposed to be done in the internet. completely make sense because all they have is freedom of speech.
   they have no idea but they are telling the world that they have nothing and they have done nothing. because people who have done something knows there is nothing more upsetting than people minding other people’s business.

15. I had that same band saw for years. Getting it to cut straight is an art, but you start by adjusting the two pinch rollers on each arm to 1 thou larger than the blade thickness, then use a small engineer's square on the vice bead to get the blade vertical.
