We’re leaving for Idaho in a few days and the Mtn Dew boat is having some real issues with the shape of the bottom of the boat… I guess you can hit too many boulders!

  1. The last little bit of The Month of Freedom, I would have loved one of those 64s. I have a V6 Commodore which for y'all in the Land of the Bald Eagle is an Aussie RWD 3.8 litre powered GM freedom machine that would have been utterly awesome with one of those on it. V8s are good but making 500 RWHP from a V6 would have been pretty damn special as well.

Cleeter, brother, we don't all own monster builds. For most folk, even on a V8 a 64 is a lot of turbski, the number of those 88s that will actually be used is small, most will either end up on the shelf or be sold. Realise that we don't all have your budget and that for the average V8 (let alone my V6) a 64mm puffer is a lot of mojo.

  2. Love the channel cleet y'all have came a long way. But damn that's a lot of time and money to still get gapped by Kyle with a $500 k series with a turbo kit. I'm no Honda boy but you should just k swap that thing

  3. Now BoostedBoiz Kyle has to turn the K-swapped jetboat up and i feel another race and gapping is coming soon!! 😂

  4. I welded aluminum angle under mine down the middle making a V and on the corners it’s held it pretty solid and takes a lot of the force from hits.

  5. I'm thinking that the damaged underside is acting like ground effect on a race car holding it down instead of allowing it to ride up

  6. The bottom of the boat probably has a "hook" in it. If you hit a big log or something and bent the boat up it will do this. In performance boating, we want "rockers" on the bottom of our boats. Makes the boat ride on top of the water better.

  7. Hits one pebble , turns back into a Rhombus
    🚤💨 😂😂

  8. The engine has more torque now – all the better for running a higher/steeper pitch impellor for more speed!
Sized right, it may give more thrust from a dig, too, as it may be able to move more reaction mass (water) faster – win-win!

  9. Awesome video. Be very carefull as you may go to jail for splashing in a watercraft. 🤣😄😅

  10. Water goes into the dent then back out at the back of the boat pushing the back up out of the water… well guess what, that forces the nose down.

  11. maibe that dent left in the middle of the boat in front of the grate kindof pushes the nose down , might be it dint used to be a problem because the plastic stuff wasnt shaped intoo that dent , now that its been replaced it takes the shape of the hull under it
the aluminium shims you put in will work , it allso will cause corrosion between the pieces of aluminium , shouldnt matter too mush as the boat will probably be written of by the time it becomes a problem with holes eaten through the hull

  12. You need to check the pitch of your output nozzle on the jet. If the bottom of the boat got pushed in that far it's very plausible that the transom has also shifted. If the nozzle is even slightly angled downward it will cause the whole boat to ride weird including digging in the nose.

  13. Wow hang on a minute you can't end the freaking video like that (this video is over) where is the (we'll freaking see ya later)
