  1. That head and rusty valves definitely needed a machine shop, polishing the rust scale with a wire wheel is your weak link, to easy to get them shot peened for $30 when you drop it off to get decked anyways. Probably could have given it a quick gasket match port aswell. Cheers

  2. Please go over all the K series and the differences if you can. I have a K24A and want to build it but don't want to spend coin on the wrong stuff… Any direction would be much appreciated

  3. We used to "adapt" the valve lapper so we could get it into an electric drill and just run it forward and reverse a few times when we were seating valves. If you are careful and don't use too much pressure the suction cup will hold it.

  4. You don't need James help killing motors (or trans) according to the "videos" section.
Every week was 1 thing dying just after you fixed the last only to kill it 4 weeks later.

Every good lie has a grain of truth which is why "but racing is breaking" is the scapegoat….because having anything running at it's limits rather than beyond them would be totally unacceptable.
I do get it, that's what keeps the "content creation" wheel turning which gives views which gives money which means you can afford to break stuff rinse and repeat, it is what it is.
I am happy to see it's been a few weeks now (We'll see how many videos this lasts) and allot more projects like the NSX and Wago (and tube civic eventualy). We'll see how long they last won't we.

  5. it's a shame you aren't closer to me. i would have given those ports a little "love" just for the hell of it. i would have also gasket matched both the intake and exhaust ports. every little bit helps and doesn't take very long.

  6. Take a tube and slide over the back side stem of the valve and then thread In a bolt to the other side of the tube then attach your drill and you can lap ur valves fast and easy.

  7. Why not just use salt instead of sugar? It’s cheaper! 💀
