  1. I fuckin love not being alone on ideas like this I thought I’d never see or find but.. my dude lol

  2. Kyle is correct. Regardless of FWD or RWD, when only replacing 2 tires, the new ones always go on the rear. The reason why, especially on FWD, is with bald tires on the rear, and new tires on the front, you'll have a severe imbalance of traction and you'll end up facing the wrong direction really quickly in an emergency braking situation. Ideally, that's why you're supposed to replace tires as a set of 4. Sounds counter intuitive, but it's true.

  3. I would have just done a highflow cat converter so you wouldnt need to cut it all up since the old one looks like shit anyways, but I guess that kinda goes with the whole sleeper aspect of the car! This thing is gunna be sick, good luck on the project!

  4. The reason discount tire wants your tires with better tread on the back is they are trying to idiot proof the car in the event of a hydro plane situation. If you have all your tread in the front and none in the rear in a hydro plane the rear will step out and result in loss of control because the average joe can't correct for that. If you have all your tread in the back the rear is far less likely to step out in a hydro plane situation even if it will result in greater stopping distances.

  5. Yyuuupppp u need a red & green (on & off) switch 100% 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

  6. They say you want better tread on the back because the thought is you can feel the front of the car losing traction and correct for it sooner then you can the rear of the vehicle. No matter if it's rear or fwd. It's not concerning the thought of them blowing out, cus if you have a tire that's obviously that close to blowing out you should replace it lol. But yeah, it's better to have a blowout in the back then the front obviously
