22. Had a 82 Black Magic Capri T-top that I picked up in Springfield Illinois several years ago found it on Craigslist STL as I live about an hour west. Car belonged to a younger guy who had went off to college and left the car at pops house and pops was tired of the car sitting around… I'd seen some pictures of the car and it looked very clean with the add stating like "70k ish original miles,5.0 v8, 4 speed manual transmission, needs tires,been sitting a while, $3000obo". So off to Springfield we go with the wheels and tires from my 79 Mustang stuffed in the back of my Taurus 😂. When we get there car is just as clean as it looked in pics,dirty from sitting but very clean. After what felt like doing a major overhaul in this guy's driveway and negotiating to $2500 we started the 3 hour drive home back to Missouri. This car ran nothing like the one in this video but watching this bringse back…The car ended up being owned by country singer Gene Watson bought locally at a Springfield Ford dealership. All the documentation from him purchasing the car was in the glove compartment along with a Gene Watson cassette tape in mint condition…lol. That car was a good one. I ended up trading it to a buddy of mine by the name of Rick Ruffino for a 65 galaxie 500 LTD. but that's another story….wish I could have all the sweet rides that I've had over the years. Fast cars and fond memories go hand in hand. Awesome car/driver and Video 👍
