Wow, that’s gonna be one leaky piece of crap. I would’ve never thought to paint the inside like that would’ve just gone with a self fetching rattle can primer for shake of ease if nothing else
You guys do great work. There are a couple of comments you should really heed. It is without question, if you do not want issues later, that proper sanding and proper cleaning of the bare metal is essential before laying down the primer coat. Secondly, you should use the primers made for metal covering as they are chemically developed so that they react to form a bond with the metal assuring a reliable barrier and gives you peace of mind there will be no rust issues since the entire area is hidden. But then again if your just going to sell it, good to I guess. Once again enjoy watching you building your pcs of art.
I feel like this was done just for some content, why would you use any water based paint on any surface of a build or vehicle ðŸ¤â€Â
way to stay positive. my initial reaction was "omg this would be soul crushing."
When you say we do, you really mean Oscar seems like he's the only one working
😅😅😅😅
😅😅😅😅
Too much moisture in an enclosed space. Increase your ventilation (a lot) and respray with a rust preventative sealer. (lol… I see you got there at around 10:20. I've seen this several times before. It's always the enclosed space and all the moisture from the paint trying to dry.)
I use water based paint at work in big enclosed areas if you dont leave a door or something open to allow for air flow i will do this everytime
holy smokes that paint really got everywhere.. at least you know where most of the leaks are.
Let this be a lesson metal needs to be primed before topcoating. Especially with water based paint primer is a must. You are correct about ventilation.
You put water-based paint straight on to bare steel… That has to be one of the noobiest painting mistakes I've ever seen. lmao
16:09 if paint can get out water can get in
That would make me cry
it seems to me that you sprayed paint that wasn't mixed well and the solids were settled at the bottom of the can.
Think this dude half azzes everything so he can post a click bait fail video a few weeks later.
The white paint leaks out in the shop, won’t thermal expansion create more leaks in the heat/ sun? I guess we’ll find out.
The white paint leaking out was a blessing.
It didn't look like it was even applying great. At 5:47 on the back wall it looks like it's running like crazy on those lower panels.
No airflow, condensation(typing this at 7min into video).
Fffffffaaaaack!
@BisforBuild use oil based paint so when it gets wet on the outside it can work like a sealant for the inside, water based paint can be removed with water, oil based paint won’t because oil and water don’t mix
I feel like you would have done better with rattle cans of etching primer for the first painting.
What's the deal? Are you posting once a month now?
did you use a DTM paint?
You should not use water base paint to paint metal
This is what you get when car guys make an RV. BIFB looks at every way RV's are made.. nah, we're rolling our own. LOL
you used the wrong type of paint for starters
nobody gets it right the first time every time. Love this project and the wins n losses 😎 so good
name of the song starting @1:20 ?
Why do water vase paint on metal?
Man not trying to be mean but that's the ugliest rig I've ever seen.
Maybe use a tried and true paint like rustoleum or steelit.
Try a Mr Clean pad on the runs
Jeez, what a mess! Well, why not now coat it with the paint, mixed with epoxy, you used on the exterior of the truck? Do two coats inside, then one more outside. Damn!
This was painful to watch
Bruh🤦ðŸÂ»â€ÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂ😂😂
Experience is the best teacher! There’s no success where there’s no failure!
Pressure wash it off with a solvent mixed in water. 🤘
