9. Why no assembly lube on the cams or cam bearing caps. And if you have 2 out 4 wires with a bad connection in the same spot, why not fix the other 2 also unless you want to make a matching piston to the old number 3 piston you just replaced

16. Should not cheap out on using old drive belt for head. few bucks could easily end up costing whole engine. bend valve tru top of piston ruining the head, pistons and bottom end.

    Well , nothing more to add, you like to take risks. stupid risks, but what ever. aint my headache. But at your age, i wasnt listening either and had to do my mistakes and learn from them.

17. Guys do you replace or re-use head studs & bearing studs ?

18. I'm not sure if you did this off camera or not, but always put a little bit of oil where the cam sits so that when you first crank it it wont be bare metal to metal contact. You'll end up with scratches on the cams/tappets.
