Why would a car that old have a seat belt light/buzzer when seatbelt use wasnt even mandatory back then. My state didnt mandate it till the mid 90’s.
No I would not give you the satisfaction by saying anything about the fuel tank vents. Because this is much more satisfying to watch for me…😂
have a good name for that car mr. lemon why I've been sitting for 30 years
you put a new gas tank on it but you don't know how much gas is in it
Just put some dead bodies in trunk! It will lower it🤦ðŸÂ»🤷ðŸÂ»â€ÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂ😂😂😂😂😂
LMAO 😂 ðŸ‘ÂÂðŸ‘ÂÂ
I need that donk asp
Man, I had a 1973 Caprice 4-door for 14 years (1979-1993). I put in JC Whitney headers, B&M shifter, Offenhauser manifold and Holley carb. It had a 454 2-bolt main but couldn’t burn rubber. These days I bought a scale model of said model. I’ll use photogrammetry to make a 3D file, radically customize the body and drivetrain, enlarge it to 12†and 3D print many for sale on eBay.
You were talking about the Kemnitz Sinclair Station in Perry, Oklahoma. It's been open since 1937. Craig Kemnitz is now the owner with his brother Brent and his parents Charles and Laura bought the service station for $3500 back in 1955. It's actually a really cool story. Thanks for mentioning it.
1972 was probably the worst year for buzzers, seat belt lights on the dash, some cars, the neutral safety switch would be wired through the drivers's seat, no butt in the seat, along with seatbelt attached, and the starter would not be energized. Seems like lots of people had that stuff bypassed on day two.
This was a good video man had me laughing my ass off that wasn't buzzing otw back from detail
Man something's gotta change LMAOO!! i feel ya
I feel like I'm there with you guys. My first car was a 69 Caprice 4 door. Same deal. Old man car, big block, fender skirts. Still had plastic on the seats. Hide away headlights and power everything. Best years of my life in that thing
Wire under seat…disconnect and buzzer for seat belt stops.
i will give you a 100 dollars for it lol
I love that caprice
clean the butthole its plugged up
I'd love to have that car but I just don't have the money for it unfortunately.
Man my gma had a 2 door version of this when I was a kid and I loved it. If I wasn't a broke a$$, I'd offer up on this car immediately. But nice to see em being saved! Hope it finds a great home!
I want it
Did Shawn buy a new single cab white chevy truck?
I don't know how you have follows
Users have no welcoming of your stupid video's
fuel cell is in place… LOL
The buzzer plugs into the fusebox.
shawn. you want too sell me that car.!!! how much!!!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
That so bad ass fellas
All that buzzer is for a key left in warning, it works with the left front door dome lamp pencil switch. And you may have a key in ignition switch warning contact failure or not contacting.
When I worked at a MOBIL full-service station, I like all the mechanics at the other brands of full-service stations that did not specialize in just one brand of car like the dealerships, we worked on whatever hit the drive, rather it be driven or towed in, from bikes to lawnmowers to even busting down & fixing tires. Gas station mechanics were in high demand in those days, if it had wheels or nuts & bolts and screws, WE FIXED IT getting paid 50% commission and a guaranteed salary.
Man I would love to have it. My Granny had a bright orange one I loved riding in it. Thanks for the memories!!!ðŸ¤â€â€
FIX THAT BUZZER!!!! Lol
That’s a lemon!!!!
I wouldn’t go off the bus route with that car!!! Please find out what the buses charge.
When you do tape some quarters to the visor for the fair home!! Lol
Buzzer going off, look for a bent door actuator in the door jam or frayed wire.
So in the original users manual it says, if you leave on the seatbelt buzzer too long it shuts the car off as a saftey measure. Lmaorofl
Put some gold 30's on that thing. Let her glide
I would put a new Radiator in it. Rockauto or autozone brass or copper 3 or 4 row .dont waste time cleaning scales are hard to get out unless you rod out .
Nice car
Nice !!
Thats a page right out of vice grip garage!!
Explosives is the drinkers seat!
Most likely the heat you're getting from the floorboard is coming from the exhaust pipe, if it's the original pipe. Back in the day GM used a double wrapped pipe. Over time the inside pipe would collapse choking off the exhaust causing many of the problems you guys are having with this old girl. I would say with the added heat you're feeling and it shutting off going down the road the carburetor might be vapor locking or the ignition coil is getting hot.
Shawn has his snow shoes and sweater on but rockin the shorts still lol. Warm on top cool on bottom lol
Shaun is the luckiest guy I ever seen good find she is sweet
Clutch fan, NOT FLEX FAN
