Terrible wreck – $200k GTO Explodes!!!

1. Misleading title here. Nothing exploded. This turd of a car was launched on a 'metal guardrail' towards the sky and centrifugal force tore it apart. This author needs to invest in a dictionary.

2. That wasn't a GTO. It was a kit car that somebody made look like a GTO. There wasn't a single part from a real GTO anywhere on that car. Real bodies don't fall off when you crash. Sucks he crashed such a nice car but at least he didn't ruin a real GTO.

7. the chassis certification sticker was removed so that chassis could not return to competition without being properly repaired and recertified. but as a side note only a licensed nhra tech inspector is supposed to remove it.

9. 1:32 why does he pull the NHRA inspection sticker off the cage. I'm assuming nhra impounded the car or at least looked it over to make sure it was all legal and not having that sticker on could cause serious issues

10. Those "retaining walls" should be replaced. Not a very good retaining wall if you can get over it so easily.
