8. Hats off to the guy, that is a badass Mustang. I couldn't even begin to imagine how much money he has just in that engine and trans, let alone the chassis. I built my forged Honda engine and I have $500 in the rods, $700 in the pistons, $1200 at the machine shop, $650 for the Type-R head that's on it, $250 for the Skunk 2 intake manifold, $150 for the Skunk 2 70mm throttle body, $150 for the AEM fuel rail, $150 for the AEM fuel pressure regulator, $250 for the 1000cc FID injectors, $800 for the PLM hand made top mount turbo manifold and 3" stainless downpipe, $550 for the Turbonetics 60-1 Hifi turbo, $400 for the Golden Eagle LSVTEC kit, $100 for the Gates Racing timing belt, $100 for the Gates Racing water pump, $120 for the brand new ported, polished, and shimmed Melling oil pump, $250 for the Integra GSR transmission, $500 for the OBX LSD (and I spent another $50 on top of that and installed the upgraded Belleville washers), $100 for a junk Integra LS transmission to get 5th gear out of it and install it into my GSR transmission so I wasn't at 5k rpm at 80 mph on the highway, $550 for the Hondata S300 V3, $200 for the PLX wideband with SmartGauge to replace the $180 AEM UEGO wideband because it wouldn't communicate with the Hondata, I mean countless upgrades and modifications just to have a Honda that is capable of a 10 second pass and I have only been to the drag strip once and ran a 14.7 @ 100 because it had a stock engine with an eBay turbo kit and no LSD so it spun one tire all the way through 4th gear on shitty 205/40/17 Nankangs. This doesn't count the $700 that I spent on paint products to paint the body, the countless hours that I put in working on it, and the constant bitching from my wife about the money and time. It truly is a labor of love…that's all I can call it.
