    I did this on my sim rig thinking "how hard can it be?" and it's actually pretty challenging because I've only ever shifted with my right hand, shifting with your left hand is like relearning everything all over again

    How do you shift with a stick? Must be an Australian gum tree stick. For long term reliability you could always replace that stick with a lever.
