  1. You and your guys have crazy mad skills and I truly appreciate that, but this whole build (and I watched it all) just tore at my soul. This car was the first car I ever drove and I guess I'm a bit of a dinosaur. I hate the wrap and the color, I hate that you gutted it so bad, I hate that you put a BMW in it, I honestly hate everything about the build. I have wanted to restore one for years but never been able to find a right price. You gutted this car and made it something else. With your teams skills, why not just fabricate the damn thing and leave the junkers to people that want to fully restore these beauties?

  2. I know this is a year old, but I had to comment, we use a piece of string to ensure all wheels are aligned and also to check for crabbing. Awesome build though.

    Proper job.

  3. Late to the party but definitely loving the channel. Binge watching your builds when I get the time. You mentioned Twitch (2018) – another new technology this old guy is figuring out – and noticed there's no videos. With a million subs, as of this comment, I think it'd be cool to watch live (or recorded live) to see a more real world aspect to your builds.

  4. One comment- Please put filters over those intake runners before it eats something and destroys that wonderful engine.

  5. Lol don’t try this at home if you don’t know what a steering rack is 😂

  6. Can you just put a metal plate on top of the block, to distribute the weight on the c.block……I'm only a couple of minutes in, so you'll probably address it in a few seconds!!

  7. Not bad, but there's a couple things you can do to make this process quicker and more accurate. You really only need the strings. Use electrical conduit to tie the strings into in order to make a perfect repeatable box, goal is to get the strings parallel and repeatable. Measure off the hub of the wheel to get the strings square on each side of the car. Also, get the height of the strings at the hub of the wheel, you'll get a more accurate measurement that way. Once you get the strings in place, use a tape measure to measure from the rim to the string. Easy toe measurements. To do caster and camber use these Longacre parts, Part: #52-78250 and Part #: 52-78430. With those tools I can do caster and camber for each side in 20 minutes. And remember, caster, camber, toe in that order.

  8. This car is not Nissan Z370, or BM!!!this car must have your brilliant name, this car is another prototype exotic car, and my opinion this car costs lots of money!!! Excellent job!

  9. And when you put the mirrors on you should also put a roof scoop side window scoops and a second seat for Chelsea so your girl could ride with you LoL just saying oh and I totally don't understand why you didn't put wiper blades so put those on unless you plan on only driving it when it's sunny out LoL just giving you some helpful criticism Chris believe me I always need some myself and my wife was actually the one who said to put the extra seat for Chelsea

  10. I learned how to align on gocarts and four wheelers growing up. I always tell people to learn and practice on something like that before doing messing with their vehicle. Not only can it be shity to drive but it can be dangerous and really expensive if you get it wrong.

  11. He should've kept the steering wheel centered before beginning the front adjustment. The toe adjustment has to do with your steering wheel angle, some cars may require you to reset/calibrate steering wheel position sensors, for lane departure, park assist, abs so on and so forth.

  12. This car would look sick with a hood modified to look like a ZL1 Corvette with a clear panel in it so you could see the velocity stacks… PLEASE…

  13. Flyin miata sells some alignment stands that mount to your wheel hubs. For Miatas but work on other cars too. Look into them, might be easier!

  14. I’m just waiting for the side mirrors on the fenders… I think it would look so good!

  15. sorry, this way you did it was a total waste of time. The tires have to be able to move while you adjust. I use 12 inch vinyl tiles with wd40 lubed between two so the car will slid around. I then use fish line to square the wheels to the frame. My alignments have done close to 200mph at sebring

  16. Here's a tip: if you let your car rot under a tree, do it this way.
If you drive your car regularly and enjoy that, just get the alignment done properly.

  17. At least you didn't put the blocs on wrong side. Talking as Civil engineering man, I think it a safe way and easy if you put jack stand for safety just like you did. I did the same for my 135i. Nice job man!!!! Continue what you do like you do cause it's sick! 😉

  18. "String Theory" Bazinga 😎😜😁

  19. Sorry to say it but the BMW axles are super sensitive to misalignment, having correct camber is a must. Most shops with professional equipment can't even get it right. Just to give an example, BMW does alignments with specific weights in the car.
