  1. Chris, I watched every episode, and I think you covered this, but I don't remember the answer…. Would twin Duramax diesels have been a better choice? You had recently mentioned that the props on the boat might be better suited to diesels that have all the torque down low and the props may be designed to work with diesel motors. Also, I wonder if you would get better mpg's. I love the boat and what you have done with it so far. Also, didn't you sell the one good diesel that came out of the boat? Maybe you could deduct what you got for it out of the total? If you did want to go Duramax diesels, you would have two Texas Speed LS motors to go into something… Thanks for the great video! Can't wait to see the breakdown on mpg's. Best wishes to you and the whole crew.

  2. It still would have been much better to fix the broken engine no matter how much it costs. As it stands it was like 2 years wait to get these new engines in the boat and you could have done the diesels engines and had the boat back to OEM. You still don't know if the props are working properly with the new setup plus the loss of ballast.

  3. Everyone should know that running costs are 10-20% per year. So in ten years you’ll buy the boat 2-3 times over. So knowing this prepares you so the boat should bring you happiness if you can afford it. If not the opposite will happen.

  4. I am restoring a boat from 1958 so I can relate a bit. Boats costs more time and money then a car. But boating is worth it ⚡️⚓️😅

  5. I've been waiting for this part for quite awhile! Edit: Good vid. I know it is DIY but, If you had to guess, how much do you think your labor costs were?
