In todays episode we weld the body back onto the frame and get started on the roll cage.

Chris, when you re-arranged the frame to L shape why did you not raise the rear axle frame that two inches so you have a perfect horizontal drive shaft ??? Gerry McGuire
Chris, please DO NOT swap M5 discs and brake callipers for NON-M5 inferior smaller substitutes Gerry please I beg you DO NOT
Yeah cad
cardboard assistantted design
Why are you so obsessed with Trivia ??? lol
maybe just for kicks maybe the video"s would run sequetial not the end at the begining . just a thought. yiu mighht get more views and followers if we did not have to control the next videos
CAD – Cardboard Assisted Design
Rear roll hoop should be vertical for strength/safety
Best of luck on the build , D is for drift is dope man !
stop pushing down on it loosen the spring if you want it to cut faster pushing on it will make it cut off of straight
The only adds I ever get on this channel are Mercedes 😂 anyone else?
I love your build! You guys should sell that frame and roll cage design when you get it done. I've been thinking the E60 M5 would be an awesome donor for a kit car along the lines of the Factory Five GTM Mulsanne, but keep it front engine rear wheel drive and throw the entire drivetrain/suspension in like you are doing. Like a Ferrari 812 Superfast looking car.
Great video. I when you started this build I was anticipating what you would do with braking. You mentioned, briefly, that you were downsizing. I don’t know much about building cars like u do, but is downsizing the brakes safe? I was expecting the final build to weigh less than an e60 m5. If you’re interested there is a bmw oem wheel that’s 18†(for winter tires on E60 m5) that clears the stock brakes. Thank u for all the entertaining videos
A removable body like old school cars and pickups have might come in handy for future maintenance. Some rubber body mounts would cut down on NVH quite a bit too. Loving the build! ðŸ‘ÂÂðŸÂ¼
400k looming!! how did that happen?
stop getting baked before editing everything (hehe)
ususally the bandsaw wheels work on concentric ? cams… getting the tension right is what happens on the one i use. i don't know if this is similar….
Its been 3 days since your last video. Are you okay? I cant wait to see more content from you.
do you not use coolant with your bandsaw?
A few episodes back you were trying to decide on a paint color… I might suggest Mazda's "Ceramic Metallic" based off what you described. I think it would look great on the build. I saw a Miata in this color in person, and instantly thought about the channel. Do an image search for "ceramic metallic vs white" to get a better idea of the subtlety.
No oil for the bandsaw while it's cutting?
News of vettekart plssss
lol forgot the wheels after trivia again lmao 🙂
First I wanna say huge fan! Love what you do and you have inspired me to go take risks on my own builds. Can't wait to see you finish this project!! However for the love of Pete PLEASE clean your shop up 😂😂
Unless your planning on rolling that thing off Everest, you DO NOT need to weld to your roof, you aren't going to even get penetration on the roll cage befor you blowout or key hole the roof
Would a salvaged M2 dash work? Or any smaller M dash?
