8. Could it be that the head wasn't milled perfectly parallel to the engine block so that the valves of 3 and 4 were sitting just a bit closer to the pistons?

16. You failed to mention that your driving could have caused the valve damage. If you knew anything about driving, you would know that hitting the rev limiter isn't good for a motor with tight valve to piston clearances…THAT'S what most likely caused your bent valve(s).
