Finally Getting Good Paint On The 240z!

1. I was intrigued by the Kove speaker and hopped on FB marketplace, scored one for $50 and it is badass! Even if I had to pay retail for it, I'd still be stoked. I definitely recommend it.

2. Im liking that front splitter! I might borrow that and add it to my custom metal bumper cover setup. Easy to tie to frame crossbracing. Spray bomb paint jobs are called that for a reason. Not sure why all the different primers. Epoxy acrylic hybrids are the best in my opinion. Decent fill, dries quick, tough as nails. Just get a good DTM and run with it. Most can be used as a sealer also, but I prefer urethane sealer for maximum UV protection. Wax and grease removers are also the initial wipe down after wash. Get a post sanding cleaner as they are water based and not solvent based, so they will not leave residue if used properly.

5. I'm sure that this comment has been made many, many times. But it bears repeating. I watch B is for Build because it's cool to see someone making mistakes and learning and getting better. If you want to see perfectly perfect builds with unlimited budgets and facilities, go watch Overhaulin' or Graveyard Carz. Oh by the way, I'll bet only half the experts that comment have ever turned a wrench.

17. Pro tip: Do not use 3m vinyl it is way thicker than any other product, which makes it one of the hardest to apply, go with Avery Dennison, Oracal, or Arlon

18. The car instandly got 10x prettier with one layer of primer on it :O surprisingly unsurprising, but still !
