Built one with my father we ripped that rotary motor out and replaced it with a 350 Chevrolet blueprinted and built by Summit Racing it was a beast of a motor but when you hit that nitrous button it would take your breath and make your heart beat almost as fast as that nasty little bitch would run when you hit forth gear. I personally wanted to keep the car because Even though we build a roll cage for her she was still street legal hell we never run her on a track. I don't know how much money we actually won but over one summer we had won five cars from guys thinking she wouldn't go from A to B without breaking loose and torching the tires now this was back in the summer of 1999 I was still in high school .. I will never forget the day this guy came by my Dad's shop wanting to buy the RX7 at first I told my dad no way but when the guy offered us twice what we had in her my father told me I could pick whatever kind of car I wanted to drive to school in I had to give in but by this time my Dad already new he was sick but I didn't because had I new that car would be in my garage right now. Before the guy that bought her got the title back with his name on it he totaled her out at the Dragstrip My Dad told me about it and that same day I found out about my father being sick with lung cancer. I swear if I would have new that the RX7 was going to be our last build together that car would have never been sold nor would it have been completely totaled out great video brought back some great memories..
