Couldn't you just put 12v on the engines on the seat to move it to where you want it? 🙂 Bring some wire and a drill-battery on the trip in case you have to adjust it 🙂

For the seat adjustment, cant you wire up something to put 12v or -12v to the motor that adjusts the seat forward and backwards. If you need it anyway.
