  1. I have to say that I'm not a fan of the square diffuser since it is way over the top. It's too square and doesn't fit the bodylines of the car. But hey, it's not my car so you can do with it what you want

  2. Love the build and the engineering behind it! And I am very much aware that Looks and taste are a very subjective thing, but this diffusor turned this car from a beautiful restomod classic into a riced up "lookatmeeeeee" machine.

Still looking forward to see the whole thing finished and admire the car as a whole!!

  3. I have seen a couple of builds that have made their own diffusers like yours and they really look bad. The first thing I would say to a friend with one on is " how many cornflake boxes did that take" Just get a sexy aftermarket one.

  4. Bro, FYI epoxy primer is a sealer… That is why your having trouble sanding that door. It's made to seal not sand. 2k primer is what you want to use to block. I promise it will make your life so much easier. Use K2 block to perfection, the use your sealer aka epoxy if your not going to paint it. Yes it can be sanded.. but that is not what epoxy primer is designed for. It's designed to seal. You can even tint epoxy primer and use as a base to save on expensive paint colors. Love the show!!! Just trying to make your life easier!!! Not a know it all, just a 30yr painter…

  5. It's getting gumed up maybe because of the heat from the da sander, try bloc sanding with water and dish soap i tried it it works even on paint thats not fully dry yet, just put a lot of dish soap so that it slips

  6. B is for butcher a perfectly good build with hideous out of place defuser.. seriously I love the build but my concern is first of all that you will not be done in time for sema (which is in less than a week!!!) and 2 you’re not prioritizing the build… I’m routing for ya… but I’m hoping this doesn’t turn out as bad as I suspect it’s about to.

  7. That VW GT40 kit car called and wants its diffuser back. Glad i was not the only one yelling at my screen to not cut the back of the car for that thing. I think the beers are telling the story here. Bless its heart. On a positive side i have been watching since before the Lotus and would like to compliment you on transforming your life from 9-5 BS to something you enjoy.

  8. Your doing fine and it's gonna be awesome! And if you don't get to finish everything that's fine I personally appreciate the opportunity to view the work you are doing big up Chris!
