In this episode I wire up a LCD rear view mirror from a mirror with a screen and a wireless backup camera. After that I finish off both of the doors by installing the glass and reinstalling the door panels. After that I install the rear quarter glass and rear hatch glass.

Chris, Is this the window trim you are searching for?

Put a little 7 inch tablet up there in place of that rear view window. That think is cheapo and it isn't going to stay on that windshield.
I know this is old but in the UK we have kit car shops. You can buy window rubbers and door seals on a roll and cut it yourself.
Hey Chris I've watched this whole series over the past couple days, and it's super inspiring to see someone stick with it and stay focused on a project like this over several months of work. It's amazing man you're more talented than you give yourself credit for. Thanks for creating this whole series of videos for the project, I loved watching it!
How affordable is a used Evora, in working condition? Insurance and stuff
did your quarter light glass come with rubber edging between the roof and the glass?
Water is supposed to get in the doors on your camaro and there should be drain holes on the bottom to let it out. The problem is the drain holes get clogged over time leading to standing water and rust.
Nice work as always. They sell rear view specific adhesive at the auto parts store.
heres an idea for you, change up your intro for every build. Keep everything the same but change the car in the same art style as the brz.
Window liners:
it's more important to get the water out again. there will always be water dripping through no matter how good the window is sealed. when you have water leaking through the doors into the car, it's probably because of bad seals between door and door panels
check out steelerubber online and look at the weatherstripping section I think the beltline stuff on it should work for your camaro Peace!!!! 🙂 🙂
Just a heads up, those little towelettes aren't just alcohol, it's a 2 part epoxy and that's part 1. If you notice, there's going to be a large splotch around the area you put it on.
you should use this song it's on ncs
Inukshuk – We Were Infinite
You know what would be a easy fix for that back like? Take the older crashed light thats cracked and see if you can salvage both new and old lights and make one good one… It's a can't loose situation..
No sticky tape on the mirror but on the brz you use it on a spoiler. Isn't there much more pressure there?
Are you still on budget at around 30k?
Were the side windows Lotus glass or generic?
in the UK we call them "Wing Mirrors"
Chris, I've hugely enjoyed this series and looking forward to when the car is complete. Maybe you could do a bonus episode which is you taking the Evora on a nice road trip or cruise. We'd love to see you and the car in action.
that car is looking sweet please tell us your going to take it on a drag strip
hey. I have the same camera, I suggest you use a better one that's like 30 bucks, one with 180 degree viewing angle, the one you have is like 135 degrees, it's very useless for backing out, at least for me.
you gotta get a new sparco, your busted steering wheel is killing me
The left light on the rear bumper is out as well.
I have a 67 Camaro. The window molding would help me too.
i have a 1967 firebird with power windows using the "Year One" replacement top door window rubber sweepers worked perfectly what happens with age (more than a decade) is the outer seal rips away leaving the felt part inside
Just noticed your air filter/regulator on your compressor. You'll get better moisture removal if you'll move your air filter further away from the outlet instead of having it right off the tank.
Yearone national parts depot or opgi one these company will be able to get you the parts you need for the camaro
More FJ!
jc.whitney
looks great Chris great job love your show
Year One is the way to go
love how this build is coming along. PIZZA ANYONE?
I need window trim/seal to replace on my '78 Datsun 200sx… I think it's like an old muscle car style but I haven't found a glass guy yet… but I doubt you'll have luck finding anything drastically 'updated' in terms of new technology for your old car on the window seal.
Did you just clean those door cards with some kind of solvent?
Great work man!
what are you giving to do about the steering wheel? with it being blown out and all.
Was the tail light nonrefundable from China or something? Why won't the seller stand behind it?
Chris I watch all your vids and they are top class bro………. any chance you can make a video on your camera setup and how you edit your videos?
Hi Chris, been following this build since day 1, genuinely look forward to new eps of this more than any shows on TV!! Massive congrats to the progress you have made, amazing to see the car brought back from the dead! Evora Defo has option of reverse camera, its mounted just above the licence plate. It was part of optional tech pack that also included reverse sensors. Sensors were mounted above diffuser vanes, worth checking the one you pulled off the car way back when?! Also Can check the VIN with Lotus to see what was optioned as part of build. If camera is present the display of the head unit changes when reverse is engaged. Not sure if you could run a live view from that camera up to the rear view mirror. View might be too low down for rear view?? Anyway keep it up mate!
