I am watching this like a mini serie. Hard work pays off! Great job for now!! Can't wait to watch the complete build, but i will not cheat 🙂 gonna watch every video
B dude it's time to learn how.to use carbon fiber with epoxy easyer than fiberglass you could make you own top of the back plate behind engine strong and easy to lay out ànd then cut to fit after it hardens try it you will use it in every build
Splooge through😂
Loved watching this, Evora How Its made .. https://youtu.be/VWOGAL5XqE8
B is for body filler
I was under the impression that you should build up the fibre glass all in one application so all the fibres knit together while the resin is wet?
Love these vids 🙂
"We exposed the back crack" …Stay classy, Oregon 😉
#graceful hahahaha
Did you guys see that? Who is the person outside the window at 17:25
3M Panel Bonding Adhesive, part number 38315 is your friend
U rock
I didn't go through all the comments for this video or the previous videos so apologies if someone else passed the same info on to you. This comment is regarding your repair techniques. Hopefully this will help with future repairs. When applying hi-fill primer, a better way would be to apply 3 full coats of primer before sanding as opposed to one coat then sand. By applying 3 coats before sanding you will get better fill and spend less overall time sanding. Also, overall surface prep prior to applying primer will insure that your primer will not flake or peel off. I would recommend that before applying your hi-fill primer, the entire surface to be refinished (painted) should be wet sanded with 1000 grit paper. After primer is applied and completed, before painting, go over the entire panel with 1500 wet sand. Take it for what it's worth, but I've done body and paint work for a long time and the techniques I've mentioned give excellent results. Looking forward to seeing the completed project.

WHERE IS THE NEW EPISODDDDDEEEEEEEEEE
Hey there! Great work so far, this is shaping up to be an incredible build.
I noticed you are doing some bonding together of fiberglass components, and were unsure of what lotus was using to stick them together.
I'm on a race team, and when we are bonding carbon fibre / fiberglass components we usually use a methyl methacrylate adhesive to do the bonding. it's wicked strong/hard stuff and works well on composite-composite as well as composite-metal bonds.
I can't say for certain that's what lotus is using, but it's probably likely. The stuff we use comes in a 2 part tube that goes into a special plastic caulking gun. I don't know the brand that we use off hand, but if you want me to look it up I can.
Dunno if this will help, but i figured I'd offer it up.
Good luck with the rest of the build!
Where did those rpf1s come from?
Just bought a B is for build Evora t shirt. You lad are an inspiration. My first car had damage (being hit from the side) and I went at it in a b is for build style and now its mint. Keep up the great work mate. Currently one of my favorite YouTubers. 😀
Really like the timeline of the episodes, the start especially, it makes it extremely enjoyable to watch, no spoilers 🙂
next car should be ferrari or alfa
You have 112k subscribers….I bet at least 10k of us would love to be there helping.

I think this is so cool. To take a totaled super car and remake it yourself. This is awesome man keep it up
too much talking homie I have a long attention span but these videos are starting to be a waste of time. need much more progress
Thanks for the free audio book
Saved me 25 $🌚🌚
You should do a motorcycle build I love your cars and I'd love to see you work on a bike
Thanks for the positive influence and advice. It helped me get through a boring part of my current project. I really appreciate it.
Most interesting and difficult to fabricate part gets 0 screen time. Awesome BRUH! B is for Biillde! These videos are build videos the same way a chilton book is a OEM factory manual. Not helpful at all but look! Diagrams!
Please stop using the word "Bondo" because Bondo is a brand of "Body Filler" and I hope you aren't using that crap on your super car! Use the term Body Filler its what people who work professionally in the car repair industry.
Hey ginger bread man
next episode bro please…
I'm used to like your video before it even starts!
I hope he gets this professionally sprayed! ðŸ™Ëâ€
What model hand belt sander do you use?
B is for fiberglass
You could have asked us to FF to the end and then leave in the comments if you finished this episode.

FYI.
Back in the day we called that bonbo with strands of fiberglass, Kitty Hair.
Nice job Chris! Saving 5 000 $ was totally worth it. 🙂
Purchased the BMW shirt to support the channel! I'll be putting the free beer cozy to good use. Cheers =)
is anyone else addicted to copart bc of this channel
Buddy you have a similar story as me, but now you have Patreon and the shop to help support the cause, I managed on my own. The feels are too strong. My support is with you brother. Right now I'm driving a E60 M5, built in a similar way and I can relate to you on the wanting a super car and actually building it.
Looks like Titanium bolts holding on the mesh
Was that a fart at 18:20?!? 😂😂😂
I thought you said graceful
did you drill the end of the crack to keep it from spreading?
Can't wait for this car to be finished!!!
Hey chris try to fit the headlight just to be sure for the corner
That portable belt sander is very handy, have you already changed the belt after all this fiberglass sanding ?
And you don't have to drill a hole to prevent a crack to go further ?
