In this episode we remove the side panel to expose the work we did on the rear bulkhead using it as a mold. We continue to fix the front of the bulkhead as well as start fixing the back. After that we tear down the front clamshell and start repairs on it.

  1. Man i know this is an older episode but really needed this today. Doing a rebuilt project at home and in the dreaded slow part now. This really hit home and exactly why i watch these channels. Ready to keep pushing because of this

  2. A little tip, use clear packaging tape instead of painters tape when fibreglassing. It wont stick to the slick surface.
I do that when I make fibreglass subwoofer enclosures to contour to the carpets in trunks

  3. Watching this series again, and that speech hit home. I'm going to keep on working on my Aztek, making it into a light off road SUV. Thank you Chris

  4. I totally agree with all the motivational stuff! I do body work all day at work and then come home and need to do body work on my project car when all I want to do is relax. but its the dream and the vision that u just have to keep in ur head and to keep urself going. and its crazy that no matter how much I don't feel like like working on it, if I push to just get started on something then u get in the groove and its hard to stop.

  5. And you were going to send the car to a fiberglass specialist… Its a good thing nobody wanted to work on it

  6. bought my s13 (hatch) over a year ago, it never worked like it should, and just recently i got it running like it should, the reason i never gave up was because this is my absolute dream car, and i want to be able to drive it every day, its a blast getting behind the wheel of it and i enjoy every second of it. and also i've spent my entire salary every single month on it (apprentice) just to get it where i want it 😀 but goddamn its worth it!

  7. You nailed the reasons why people procrastinate on anything. I love the ideas you give for getting people over the hump. Thanks for sharing!

  8. Damn Chris. I'm super impressed man. This is some serious DIY skills. If I'm ever in you area we should grab a beer 👍

  9. Hey have you ever thought about doing a live stream? It may seem boring but could be cool also. Plus less editing since its all happening there.

  10. You should check out J Mantzel channel, he builds boats in glasfiber with simple tools an solarpower, lots of tricks to pick up. Your doing good though. Btw you should start taking credit for your own work instead of saying "we" all the time say "I". Love the way you just throw yourself into stuff an figure it out, hang in there.

  11. Got your sticker in the mail and I learned a new lesson today.. Don't put them on on a windy day lol now I have a crooked sticker

  12. Love the episodes no matter the similar content. I've done allot of vehicle projects myself and know whats its like to be in the middle of a project.

  13. I can see the programming mindset you have man, milestones, goals, hell get a gantt on the case 😂😉

  14. Needed that little speech in this episode. gave me the motivation to get back in my basement and work on my engine again
