  1. Does it have to be 54 degrees on the angle .. I’m in the process of making my 350z ones and I can’t seem to get the right angle ..

  2. I really wish I had supplies to do this myself. I have a scion IM and im trying to whorestep my rear side window corners, if you have any advice please help!

Edit* scratch that, decided on a single scoop louver, but still not quite sure how to build it

  3. Had lovers on a late 70s 280 Z they were attached by slipping a hinge with a flat part above it that went under the window rubber and trim that allowed you to lift them up to wash the window And dry it too They stayed on the car very well and it had a Catch on the bottom part to hold it secured to the window That set of lovers was a factory option And they did have a foam pad Were the metal met the window They never rattled Or ever were a problem and most of the Zcars of that era had them installed As well the drywall corner bead may be a problem rusting as that is made from very cheap steel ? Ive seen them rust in buildings that have a high humidity level my advice would be To powdercoat if you can fid a oven it will dit in or maybe use a ultraviolet light cured powder coat Not a expert or a negative person on your project my gut reaction is a paint wont prevent the rust With a vehicle being exposed to our side conditions ? It would be interesting if you could do a follow up video on the final And perhaps a review at one point in te future ?

  4. thanks a lot for this real DIY WINDOW LOUVERS PROJECT . . .

I REALLY HOPE I CAN WORK SOMETHING ON MY WAGON …yea I say WAGON LOL

  5. hey i wanna do this for my mustang, im thinking about using aluminum flashing and cutting it, but id much rather just buy them already @ the right widths and just cut the lengths. where did you buy your metal panels at? , also @ 9:25 into yoru video, whats that tool called?

  6. Can you please tell me where you got the metal? I've been on a search for about two weeks and nothing seems to come close to what you spent?

  7. Been trying to find some louvres for my 83 Celica… Seems like DIY would be the easiest way as they seem to be rare as hens teeth now.

  8. look awesome, but i would have recommended that you started from the bottom up, that way you could overlapped each one on top of each other for aerodynamics and it wont cause road noise either!

  9. Planning on doing this for my GT
I rather risk $50-60 on materials for this than spend $300-400 on plastic louvers from the American Muscle website

  10. It's nice to see that there's still people like yourself who want their car to look nice and not like a piece of shit.
