In this episode Chris diagnoses the 5 codes that appeared in the last episode. Swapping out the air flow sensor as well as the front O2 sensor. After finding a surprise hanging out in the intake manifold, Chris is able to diagnose the root of the bad idling.

Great video, would you be able to follow me? It would be so amazing if you could. Have a nice day either way. ðŸ‘ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂ
I am learning SO much from this series.
I had an oppurtunity to "buy back" my moms BMW 1/series 116 with a crashed front.
And this series helped me get it going again.
Thanks for the series and, sorry about your job BUT, keep doing theese videos, maybe set up a patreon, you'll get by!
The community is here to help you.

Dude u keep getting lucky. Nice work. Glad you were able to figure it all out.
stop talking that much and get it done
Pmsl @ your 'morning after the night before' voice!!
Awesome you got that beast running and that you reppin' the great pacific north west!
What an idiot. He has codes for faulty sensors and knows that at least 3 of them are damaged. Let's do everything but replace them. Oh look there's a piece of plastic from the shattered air box that was getting sucked into the intake but was stopped halfway by the throttle blade. Check the rest of the intake for plastic that went past that? Nah, why bother. B is for Bonehead.
Id drive the manual man.. lol
Sick car man !
That moment when the car runs he gets out something starts knocking and he looks at the car like: "You better fucking dont or Im gonna junk yo ass"
"science" hahaha
how much money do you use on this car?
Are you going to do under glow if you do you should do black light or blue
To test the tps there is 3 main wires a signal a reference and a ground the other 2 or more wires are for the motors to actually move the throttle plate , but if you use your multimeter on dc Volts and back probe the tps signal wire with your postive probe and nagitive to ground physically move the throttle plate the volt meter reading should change , if you put your negative probe on the negative terminal and the positive on the reference you should read around 5vs and check for continuity in the ground if you have all of the things I just listed your tps and working properly communicating with the pcm and the motors may be malfunctioning
Your inspirational to be honest. Keep up the great work man, love what your doing!
If the car is fully ready change spark plugs clean or buy a performance throttle body
The only time is was beaten, I wasn't there 😛
Good motto for working on cars lol
Isn't it crazy how a small piece of plastic stops your car from running right?
At 9:23 … still… RX7 is life….. <3
I'd get so pissed so much to fix! I'd buy a new one

This is definitely late, but happy birthday dude!
Old motorcycle trick for a dodgy tps. Unplug it and if the car idles fine there's your culprit. May not work if its drive by wire
+B is for Build
How much money did you guys pay for the BRZ to begin with and how much have you spent on parts and tools fixing up this BRZ???
One way you can "drain the power" out of the ecm is to take the battery cables off of the battery (of course) and touching the battery cables together for about 5 minutes. Not sure if it works on every vehicle but it is a pretty common and easy way to do it.
$1000 you would be better off putting in a used engine, this one has a cracked block.. it took a hard hit.
Happy birthday buuuuday…glad you got your car running! and thank you for filming the process for us
This might be an odd question but I was wondering what brand/model the heater you use in your shop is and how well it is working for you? I have been looking for a heater for my garage so I can keep working on my projects through the cold New Jersey winters and can seem to pick one…
when decals coming
One small thing caused that much problems
Did you try plug back in the old air flow sensor (and DIY air intake) to see if they were contributing to the problem?
cant wait for next vid and to hear the exhaust rawr
