To celebrate our 100K subscriber milestone we’ve decided to get a boat, but not any boat, a car boat! In this three part series we take our BMW E46 and turn it into a boat.
In this episode we talk buoyancy with Jason from Engineering Explained, and we light the car on fire!

  1. If the car is sealed, I don't think putting spray foam IN the car will help. Putting foam board or spray foam OUTSIDE/UNDER the car would help more…I think.

  2. I'm a little late to this one but I don't see anyone commenting how adding foam inside the car not only doesn't help it float but it makes the car heavier. Around the doors and vents great if it's waterproof but just filling random parts of the interior, that's not how buoyancy works.

  3. The foam on the inside is dumb😂😂if your inside of a boat holding a foam cooler your not floating better 😂

  4. metric system is better lol they even started teaching it in america, like my science teacher had an entire subject just for learning metric system and when we asked him why hes teaching us it he just replied cuz americas measuring system sucks

  5. rule number one……….when welding cars….. have someone on fire watch and its handy to have a fire extinguisher but a squeezy bottle filled with water will usually do.
