Simplicity is key for this Civic! Or perhaps not.. This savage took a completely stock 3.5L motor from a 2002 Honda ODYSSEY, slapped some Acura TL Type-S heads/cams in it – as well as a stock (TL Type-S) 6-speed. He was generous to leave enough room for a 72mm turbo, and what has come of it? 800hp and a 189mph trap speed at the 2016 Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack! This little hatchback gets the stamp of approval from 1320video!

  1. Seen an auto 1.5 lsi on ebay thought hmm k20 swap!? Went to engines but put v6 instead cus y not, found odsy engine, googled v6 civic which brought me to youtube and I now wanna build this car but it's a red coupe😍

  2. Learn something new everyday. I was online looking for LV3 short block to swap into my Grand National and I ran across a 3.5L Honda Oddessy block and the bare block with it's cross-bolted main caps looked like a very strong block. Maybe I'll be swapping a 3.5L v6 into my Grand National, the main issue though is it being an overhead CAM engine.

  3. Yo, I just realized that bruh didn't even have to make a special hood because the engine was too high in the engine bay to get that 02 odyssey motor to fit! Usually, with the V6 swap civic's, they seem to need a special cut out because it's so large but somehow this one fits perfectly without all that

  4. 2360 after a v6 swap, i love honda 😂😂😂😂, 800hp? that bitch is dangerous

  5. If he stripped it down like that then it shouldnt way 2360, because the k20s weigh abkut 420lbs and the j32 weighs about 550lbs, and the eg hatch weighs about 2175 or 2089, so after swapping it should be 2360 and then after stripping it down it should weigh 1900lbs

  6. So where do people get/how do people make these slab sided style side skirts and air dams/splitters? I've seen this exact looking front part attached to a tC's bumper, and now I see identical looking pieces on the SIDES of a car, too. What, is it just a universal piece that you can glue/bolt/clip to any car?

  7. Nice video brother! Checkout my Turbo J32a3 7th Gen Acccord coupe, making 560whp + on only 8psi! 😏💪🏻 NA it made 316/262 with our Stage 2 Cams.
We do all types of Performance parts (Stage 1-3 Heads, Stage 2 Cams, PnP work, PnP runners/TB/Intake, etc). Check us out on IG @ HalferLand Performance

  8. One question, HOW THE FUCK DOES A DAMN HONDA ODYSSEY VAN MOTOR MAKE 800HP WITH JUST HEADS AND BOOST AND NOT BLOW UP.
