That wiring = Hours on the side of the road troubleshooting when you have trouble. I made the mistake on my first bike messing with the ECU etc… and I would be flicking wires and squeezing them to troubleshoot on the side of the road.
That wiring turned out a LOT cleaner than I thought it would!

Self tappers are the worst thing ever, unless you are attempting to start corrosion points. Look up nutserts. They are a much better option.

i suggest getting a fan controller for those fans, going to take forever to get up to operating temp with them running with the key on , also, those pull a lot of amprage, i wouldn't share it with anything else

For anybody interested in the Arduino solution, I took some further research in finding out how to create a proper solution literally just using an Arduino, with some packet sniffing on the CAN BUS you can interpret the data being sent from the stock FA20 Engine Control Unit and somehow have an Arduino convert similar if not the same piece of data from the 2JZ ECU to the Arduino to enable certain things like ABS, Traction Control, Power Steering, etc…Takes quite some time to really dig into it but def has caught my eyes over the past few days, I'd love to turn this into an open source solution eventually that brings back a lot of these OEM features. The power steering on the BRZ is really unique imho, I know Motec has a solution (a very expensive one) but I think with a few all nighters and some RedBull an Arduino hack could save you thousands. I'm going to continue doing some more research and keep you posted if you're interested. Huge thanks to a lot of the information shared by ""wutsaiu" on the FT86 fourm!

How long you are doing this build?
I don't think the ecu controls the alternator as far as regulating the charging cycle. It just sends power to the circuit board on the alternator and that controls the alternator charging load. correct me if I'm wrong.
