DVD pre-order (http://www.1320video.com) – – Our favorite car from KOTSVIII on 10/6/12 matches up against OZZ fora grudge race, a race that (pending traction) should have been a REALLY good race… things didn’t start off well for the Vette and ended even worse. Luckily the driver was perfectly fine and in good spirits.

I remember back when I was young and going to the drags, people stayed the fuck off the track!!!!
I'm sure this has been addressed but trying to recover a car with leaf springs with 2000hp by getting back on the gas was obviously a terrible idea. Hate to see the guy lose so much work in one poor decision.
Im no fan of gm but hate to see cars wrecked that people work hard on, glad youre ok
thank you goodbye vette
Jesus… WHY? Race was already over…
sorry about your car man! badass vette tho!
when people who have money have no idea how to drive a car…
so they de-prep the start for this event, nice.
He lost the race the second the light turned green.
ouch
idiot fat moron
That thing looked like the bat mobile
Felt bad after reading the title and hearing him tell the specs of the car but damn why u gonna get back into it when u know traction is lost
Sick car… too bad it got wrecked like that 🙁
poor car
He only had about 6 chances to do the smart thing and shut it down without damaging his car.
Why race old cars? Keep em relatively stock and race late model cars. No sense in destroying a classic Vette.
Fat and furious
He should've shut it down at the first step out, not get mad and keep peddling a mad tank slapper.
Well that was a bad day right there…..ÂÂÂ
I dont know how he has that kind of mentality to mash the gas and thinks he might still win lol
should have let off.
Thats what happens when you get all cocky. Should have just aborted the run after it broke loose and figure out how to make her stick right.   Instead, he recovers and mashes the gas, as if its not going to immediately break loose again.
lol american cars can't even go in a straight line..Trolooolool
Too much power to throw at an IRS! They just weren`t made for that. Hell, my `80 with a L48 350 has even broke a u-joint on the right rear half shaft. How did these ever withstand big block torque?
Gay. It's called breaking when your out of control
Biggest mistake was putting all that power in the car without replacing the rear end with a solid axle. Independent rear end vette means hold on bitch.
The race was over as soon as he spun out. Should have just costed down the track
Cant drive!
what times did it do??
Awww.. At least the guy is ok. All that really matters.
And that kids is why corvettes suck as far as performance goes. Not enough weight for what's under the hood, as well as an aerodynamic nightmare.
At 2 22…lol
Are the switches on the back for fuel?
And it was completely avoidable "I just had to slam on the gas that one extra time to send it sideways."
why would he try and finish the race???? You got spanked……..so you decide to try and put 2000hp back down on the edge of the strip?????ÂÂÂ
LOL wow……a simple case of "clueless".ÂÂÂ
If that's his mentality…….then get ready for a lot more crashes from him.ÂÂÂ
BTW…….his 2000hp Vette was getting raped……but based on his driving skills, probably more driver involved.ÂÂÂ
Here is a normal question. Why do drivers not back out of the throttle when the car gets stupid? When your car gets out of shape, then 99 times out of 100, you lost the race. He could have saved the car from any damage if he just let up. I know this happens so fast, it is hard to predict, but when your car goes sideways, it's time to let off the gas, even in a street car. I have saved my chevelle on the track and on the street, because tearing up a car is worse than loosing a race. Glad the driver was not hurt, but he needs to wise up. 2000 hp? maybe, maybe not, I hope he learned a leason here!
he wouldn't of wrecked if he didn't step on the gas again. on the side came when he is going straight for a second you hear him step on the gas. big mistake when not in the grove.
Driver error here…he shouldve just threw it in neutral regardless he lost anyway
the most important word in racing, "COMPROMISE".ÂÂÂ
wtf you could have not hit the gas after you lost control and saved your car
You know? There is always something called… hmmm.. oh yeah! Maybe too much horse power in one run! Some thing us bikers even have issuses with, (mostly noobs), they flip the bike up and around and they fall on their asses.
2000hp my ass….and build a fukin chasis that works
Its only a Chevy! no need to worry
He should have left the car alone when it first lost control and let it coast in neutral. when you rebuild it, don't just worry about the motor. Spend some time on the suspension to hold the 2000 hp
