  1. A few seconds… Even though it took LESS THAN a second for the other guy to shove him to the ground. So he was convicted because he didn't give the other guy a second chance. Maybe the judge would have been satisfied if the man waited until after the other shoved him again and again and again and again… The other guy should have been carrying a gun and shot the other dead. Then no judge would have said that the first man had a right to shoot the other. Not that it would have been an option, since he would already be dead. If you're alive to shoot, you have no right to shoot your attacker. If you're shot dead, you had a right, but didn't use that right. So no shot at your attacker is justified. You're either guilty or dead. There's no such thing as a precaution. You don't pull your gun out, unless you already have a gun pointed at you. But then you are too late to pull out your gun and shoot in self-defense, because the other is already 1 trigger-pull away and he's not going to give you a chance to pull your gun out and point it at him and fire. So when trying to shoot legally in self-defense, you're either too early and you're guilty of manslaughter, or you're too late and you're dead. So the need for probable cause is [the right to shoot] denied. 'Stand your ground'?? More like 'Lay your ground dead'!

  2. What Happened To Just Punching Each Other Out Till The Best Man Win's? There Was No Need To Shoot Him!! 😞 One Man Dead & Another In Prison And The Family's Suffer!! 😢

  3. It's not self defense if you start it & he started it with by harassing the guy girl friend .

A lot of men including myself would have did the same thing if I saw a man harassing my mate.

I do support & believe in the stand your ground law but to me if you start or instigate the altercation pretty much like this prick did it's not stand your ground.

Especially if I heard right & he started arguing over a handicap parking spot? Not worth it. Take there tag number and file a complaint to the police there.

But this dude looks like a dumb stuck up prick & bully.

So will end with this. If you confront some one (like this dude did) for no good reason going up to them, their property, car, work and so on by you starting/confronting/instigating it then something happened & you shoot the person. Not stand your ground. But if they shoot you it is because you started it

  4. "I just have a pet peeve about handi-cap p parking spaces" wow! Guns make people think they are enforcers above the LAW! Too many unnecessary deaths. I can't wait to go home! This planet has to much EVIL on it.

  5. If he would have shot him 3 seconds earlier the jury would have said NOT GUILTY. Everybody that owns a gun should know that the #1 rule when claiming self defense is to NOT shot if the agressor is walking away or if he or she has their backs towards you.

  6. Nobody's talking about his behavior in front of the children this is ridiculous you don't park where you're not supposed to park and act conceited go around pushing people down on the ground that's not what America is about

  7. Did they get a ticket for parking in handicap spot at least? I see an uproar about pro football players being inconsiderate parking in handicap so why is it ok here?

  8. Here's what this court case has taught me: if I see someone getting raped, mugged, robbed, assaulted…. I'm just going to mind my business and walk the other way so I can save myself the trouble.

  9. You cant just shoot someone when they arent a threat anymore. I feel bad for the mother and child. They're never going to see their loved one ever again all because some idiot was petty enough to murder over someone using a handicap spot. Theres so many ways that couldve been handled better.

  10. This is a good reminder to double and triple check your thought process before using the second amendment instead of just blatantly reacting to a situation if you can’t do that then you should willingly turn in your weapon if you can’t use sound logic and judgment in the heat of the moment not everyone has that ability and their is no shame in that.

  11. Him being locked up ain't justice. Him beiing put down like a rabid dog and sent to the deep pits of hell for all eternity is true justice. A life for a life. Him getting 3 hots and a cot ain't doing nothing but wasting tax dollars.
