11. This really brought tears to my eyes because my parents did the same thing and I am doing the same thing with my children. You have to do it from the cradle before the world convinces them that they are black and ugly, never did anything good, and never will. I thank my parents every chance I get.

19. Sometimes, black people are very good role-model. I just came from watching a viral video of a black father having a “conversation” with his 19 months old baby and now this? These types of affirmations are also good for adults too.
