  1. Signs to not buy that car:
    1. Running a car sales business from his mother's house.
    2. Doesn't give you proper tags
    3. Setting you up with his own car insurance company.
    4. Car came from an auction.

Scotty Kilmer this woman needs your advice.

  2. in all honesty she probably didn’t think ab bring scammed since he was very “nice”

  3. These scams are pretty real. A lot of times, it's people buying cars cheap at auction. Then they do the bodywork and just enough engine work to make it run. Then they sell the car out of their 'mom's house', which is usually just a random address where they know the owner won't be around. A lot of times, the vehicles are unsafe. I found one where the whole SRS system had been triggered, but the 'dealer' sold it by cutting off the SRS warning light. The person was driving around in a car with seatbelts and an airbag that wouldn't work properly in an accident (luckily, he was rearended at relatively low speed, so the SRS failure didn't matter). The problem is, due to the anonymity of the internet, people can get away with it relatively easily. They prey on ignorant customers, so hopefully videos like this open some eyes.

  4. I love how she's so proud of her slam-dunk legal argument… "Who does something not legit at his mothers house? Am I right???"

  5. I'm bouncing between having to accept that people are genuinely f**** stupid and believing that they know more than they're telling admitting to about how sketchy the deal was.

  6. Another red flag would probably have set a world record. It's too bad this woman got scammed, but when you're that much of a sheep sooner or later a wolf is going to find you.
