DuPont is still one of the big movers and shakers man, they merged with Dow Chemical (also pretty infamous) and split into 3 companies, probably to dodge attention, obscure some operations under different names, and avoid the antitrust action they’d been facing since forever. Also most people don’t realize this, but they owned General Motors for a very long ass time, until like the 80s if I remember correctly

22. I grew up directly across the river from the DuPont plant, in Little Hocking, Ohio. My family drank well water for the first few years, until we got "city water" running through town. My father died of cancer and cancer was detected in my mother's system before she died. I moved from that area in the mid 80's but I'm still terrified about the concentrated amount of C8 that could still be in my system. Thank God for this movie and it's exposure of a greedy, horrendous criminal…DuPont!
